The ticket limit was 999 when I attempted to buy some GA a few minutes ago. Assume brokers bought 999 tickets per click. It’s geared so Ticketmaster can make money on multiple transactions. Of course, they prefer the second transaction so they can get a cut of the ridiculous markups by the resellers (many of which are professionals). Absurd.

No one who’s ever been is gonna do this nonsense.

Not sure I’m following you. To clarify, I bought 4 GA tickets for my family, but noticed they allowed buyers (think scalpers/professional ticket brokers) to buy up to 999 tickets. The point I was attempting to make is that this is ridiculous/absurd because it caters to making Ticketmaster more $$$$ at the expense of the common fan who simply wants to enjoy some quality SEC baseball.

I simply mean, nobody that has actually been there is gonna pay the prices listed above off of the secondary market. Glad you got tix!

Got it. I was referring that the SEC site (Ticketmaster) allowed buyers to purchase up to 999 tickets in quantity. They aren’t capping what the resellers/scalpers can charge.

Exactly. No reseller is buying these in bulk for resale. Supply far exceeds demand year after year. The more likely explanation is that the SEC held more premium seats back for each of the schools. There certainly wasn’t a mad rush for tickets this morning, causing a sellout 1 minute later.

Yes Hoover. Reserved seats went on sale this morning at 9 and were sold out by 9:10 and by 9:01 all that was left was one section beyond third base. Very questionable.
If you can’t get hooked up, then none of the rest of us even have a prayer!
Doesn’t @feathersax usually go? Maybe he can help or has connections?
GBO!!

Sorry, but we don't have "connections". Just have been going to Hoover for nearly 20 years. Give it a try, folks. Love to see a sea of ORANGE down there.
