You guys can hate all you want, but he's a good offensive mind.

It's just mixed in with a bunch of stupidity and over inflated ego.

Edit: Kiffin

It's not up for debate... Kiffin can run an O and call plays.

Kiffin will be a HC again. Maybe even next year-- if not, then the year after. Somebody will take a chance on him. Maybe even Nebraska, if they get far enough down their list-- after Bo Pellini, Kiffin will seem like less of a jerk.

Fingers crossed on Kiffin turning the Gators into a trash heap

Pinkel should at least be mentioned

yea some might see this as why he shouldnt get it but to me bouncing back from losing to indiana first game of the season and getting ass raped by uga 41-0 is really impressive alot of teams fold up after games like that

him or mullen should get it for doing more with less their recruiting classes are all awful compared to what the big boys get

Mullen would be my choice.

Freeze and Pinkel are great but you can't get blanked by Arkansas and beat by Indiana and win it. Pinkel is great with what he has recruited but Mullen has been more impressive IMHO.

I would give the best assistant award to Steckel of Missouri over Kiffin.

The Chef has done a fantastic job over the last 3 years consider the number of juniors leaving for the NFL. Now LSU's D did horribly early in the schedule, but drastically turned things around after Auburn and finished the year #1 in the SEC in yardage with only 1-2 seniors even getting snaps on D, playing a ton of freshmen and sophomores.

Yeah, well MSU is an established SEC program whereas MU is 2 years in and are on their way to ATL for the 2nd time. Had Mullen and MSU beaten Ole Piss I might have agreed.

Said no USC fan ever....he called the plays their too and it was baaaaad

Calling the plays while also trying to be a HC is a diffcult thing and one he doesn't excel at. He put together the most potent offense in USC history in 2005 in terms of pts, yards and having a 3k yard passer, two 1k yard rushers and a 1k yard receiver. He's followed that up with the most prolific offense in Bama history in terms of pts and yards.

Kiffin, hate him or love him, he's a hell of a play caller and recruiter when he can focus on those two things. If he wasn't, Saban wouldn't have hired him.
