SEC coaches on HOT SEAT ?

Bobo will probably be gone after this year at Ga. Strength and conditioning coach will probably also be canned.

I've been saying it for several years that Richt is the next Fulmer. Complacency is a mofo.

If I had to guess which coordinator from UGA is out by the end of the year I'd go Grantham. Defense has looked nothing short of awful last four weeks.

Richt easily gets a pass for the Mizzou loss; however, Richt does not get a pass for the Vandy loss. Richt is not yet on the "hot seat", however, if UGA happens to lose to both Florida and Auburn (giving them a 5-loss season), then I think Richt is forced out.
If so maybe they'll hire D. Dooley. Lol

We should want Richt to stay!
IMO, if a really good coach was there instead of the average coach they have, with all that talent & home state low hanging fruit talent in Georgia, they would be a very strong team. I say hold onto Richt as long as possible. Georgia's underachieving is 100% coaching. Be it the head man, or his coordinators. I would even go as far to say that Dooley would win there. Think about it.

Ga beat LSU and USCe while healthy. Richt is safe.

This might be the year the OBC calls it a career. His look of disgust in his coaches show said to me "this isn't fun anymore".

Mullen should be in trouble.

Richt has entered into the "fire Randy Sanders after an embarrassing loss" phase of his slow but inevitable march to being fired in 2017.

I think Muschamp is in trouble if Georgia beats them.

There are easily 3 losses left on that schedule, 4 if the quit and Vandy surprises them.

If he loses to Carolina, Georgia, and FSU they end up 6-6, which will give Muschamp a record of 24-14. Ron Zook had a record of 23-14.

I'm gonna go with the Kentucky coach, I know it's his first year and whatnot, but Kentucky has basically become the new doormat/cellar dweller of the SEC.

Only way I could really see Muschamp being on the hot seat off the top of my head would be if the Gators blow it at home to Vandy or something. Hmmm.

Vandy beats Florida, having a decent 7-6 or 8-5 season, Muschamp is fired, Franklin is sucked up by the Gators, Vandy collapses back into irrelevance, Franklin ends up after maybe one or two semi good years bringing Florida down to a point below where UT was thanks to racking up several NCAA violations or something, and Florida slides into oblivion for the next decade or so. Tennessee regularly blows out and even shuts out both of teams.

THE END

Wait what? So you think the first year head coach of a program that has always been the doormat or close to it is toast? You do realize he will have the first top 25 recruiting class for Kentucky in god knows how long.

Not sure how fair it is to put Richt on the hotseat
Muschamp can prolly survive if he fires some coaches

Mullen is the only coach I can see possibly being fired, and that would most likely require his team just falling on their faces

Mullen should have got out when he could. MSU is never going to be any better than 3rd in the west and that means two of the 3 of the 5 non-Mississippi schools are having a down year. Plus there aren't enough recruits for both Mississippis to be good at the same time, so every little bit Ole Miss gets better is something stolen from State.

Any further beatings, rapes or other felony offenses at Vandy and Franklin is gone. The importance of preserving Vandy's reputation far exceeds anything they want to accomplish on the football field.

Spurrier's seat isn't even warm and he certainly doesn't have to worry about being fired. The Ole Ball Coach will be just fine. I do anticipate he hangs it up within the next 5 years though, maybe even 3. He's not getting any younger and I think he realizes Carolina's not gonna get much better than they are right now.

I forgot that franklin's seat is hot because of the #HoldHerDown controversy. It's just a terrible situation and people should be held accountable for all that mess. My prayers are with the young lady and her family for healing and recovery.

Other than that, i think #FireMarkRicht has legs, but only after next season, Muschamp safe with Mullen for 1 more year (besides I think Mullen goes to Gators after next year and makes both programs happy).

You can bet that Franklin has had some frank discussions with the purse holders. To be arrogant and brash is one thing. To be arrogant, brash, and a defender of offenders is a whole new level of dumbassery.

I think that's a long shot. No way he leaves MSU as head coach and goes back to Florida as OC, and Florida sure as hell won't be hiring him to replace Muschamp after seeing him flop at MSU.

If anything, I could see Mullen reuniting with Meyer at tOSU.

Mullen could have got the job a few years ago, but since the expectations have been raised at MSU he has failed to live up to them. Its similar to Franklin. Winning 6-8 games at those schools is pretty impressive the first time. Doing it 4 years in a row is less so because it shows no improvement. Mullen should have gone after the Penn State job when it was open, but the sanctions scared him away. Now his stock is too far down to get another job at that level. I think we see Franklin get a look at some open jobs this off season, if he's smart he should take one.

These SEC teams now have a window of opportunity to hire kiffy, before he is snatched up to be the HC for one of the NFL teams that will be looking.

They don't want to miss out on the chance.

I heard that Layla was looking at houses in Gainesville and she was a Gator and his daddy coached at Tampa and Meyer would give him a good recommendation and there are lots of Co-eds down there for him and they have a good program to give coaches vehicles to "tool around in".
