Well new update. Vanderbilt was crushed last night by Illinois. AJ Ogilvy did not attempt a shot for the last 18 minutes of the game. It honestly made me embarrassed for him.
I still thought Missouri would be a good win for them, and tonight Missouri lost to Oral Roberts.
Georgia sucks as I said.
In Big 10 news, Michigan is 4-4 and just got abused by Utah.
Wisconsin entered the top 25 and lost to Wisconsin Green Bay.
Wisconsin Badgers vs. Green Bay Phoenix - Recap - December 09, 2009 - ESPN
Indiana is 4-4 but Crean got a big win against Pitt last night. Calipari better recognize that Saturday could be a trap game for his club.
UK in beating UNC and UConn has better wins than any of the teams ranked ahead of them in the top 25.
If Florida can beat Syracuse tomorrow night (which people on here are saying not only will not happen but that the game will not be close) then Florida will be ranked in the top 8 along with TN and UK.
Iowa lost to Northern Iowa. Since the SEC gets to drop a team from the 12-11 league comparison, Arkansas, Georgia and Auburn are all looking like absolute dog crap but like they could beat Iowa.
Who could have predicted that Miss State could beat Depaul and UCLA and it would not help much towards getting them ranked? Preseason I do not think anyone would have guessed how bad things would be with the talent the Bruins have.
Saturday will be a big day for Big 10 reputation.
Purdue plays Alabama
Virginia Tech travels to Happy Valley to take on Penn State
Wisconsin hosts Marquette
Minnesota hosts 3-5 St. Josephs
Ohio State travels to Butler without Evan Turner
Indiana hosts Kentucky.
If the Big 10 loses even 3 of those home games which is very possible, it will not help the conference RPI vis a vis the SEC.
