Dear SEC,

Don’t tell me what I can’t do with my own goal posts. Next time our fans will stick them somewhere you probably won’t like!

You guys do know that 100k is the standard fine for any school when the crowd comes on the field. No biggie and I read somewhere here that Danny White told the police to not try to stop them or arrest anyone for coming on the field or tearing down the goalposts . Cool AD.

Randy Boyd probably supported the move as well based on his comments.

I like Clay Travis, but he was dead wrong about Heupel when he was hired. He bashed him worse than almost anymore. But I know Clay is a lifelong UT fan.

Gotta love that EVERYONE, especially President Boyd is enjoying our new success. I hope he remembers that night and tries to keep us on top for a long time.

Standard fine is 50k. 100k is for a second offense. Apparently our first offense was storming the court after the bball team beat Florida in 06. I was one of the crazy kids on the court back then. Totally worth it. Then and now.

I was at that game as well but did not storm the court.

At some point, you kinda need to "reset" that penalty counter though don't you?

Once every couple of decades is not going to be the end of the world. The NCAA quite frankly needs that kind of spirit to set college athletics as distinct from the pro leagues as possible

I was near the front of the standing room only section behind the basket. There wasn’t much choice tbh

Yeah, I was mid-court, bottom section, but I was halfway up the stands. I went with some chicks and they didn't want to storm the court. I actually wanted to lol

Could not agree more. I’m OK with a small fine I guess just so it stays rare/special but it should never grow to a point that it is a real deterrent imo.

Next time, hire a helicopter to fly them to Birmingham and drop them on the front lawn of the SEC Headquarters.

When you consider the number of eyeballs on that game/stadium and the atmosphere surrounding the entire day, it's one of the best investments UT has ever made. Talk about a return on your advertising dollar!

What Hypocrisy by the SEC. They made millions off of that last night. ESPN can’t wait to get the SEC game of the week.
