Sec Football odds

I'm glad you enjoy tearing down other teams so that you can have something to cheer about.

Those morons who make all the predictions look at last year's results and make their picks. They don't go to the practices, they don't consider recruiting, they don't allow for staff upgrades. And they certainly don't look at the schedules.

Kentucky may not win the SEC this year, but they definitely will be greatly improved.

Now, go pick on the Commodores, big guy. Oh, yeah. I forgot about last November's game against Vandy.

No offense intended toward all the other classy Vol fans here, but it's silly to see a dog who finished near the bottom of the heap last year chewing on one who finished just a few rungs lower.

come on, we were just joking around.

From my very humble perspective here in beautiful downtown Bowling Green, to say that the "Cats" will be improved is the underwhelming overstatement of the century.

The only way that they could not be improved would be for them to forfeit every game. They have some talent and they might actually win 2-3 SEC games if they are really lucky. I guess 2-3 SEC victories could be considered an improvement.

If they are so improved, let's see how they open with Louisville.

You lost me right there.

Good heavens, me too. Used to live in Boring Green.

UK went 3-8 last year. Let's look at their schedule this year:

at Louisville: Probably a Loss, but it's a rivalry game that often is close.

Texas State: Win

Ole Miss: Probably a Win

At Florida: Loss, forget it.

Central Michigan: Win

South Carolina: This is definitely the swing game of the schedule. It's at home, a night game. Crazy things happen at Commonwealth for night games.

At LSU: No way in heck. Big L.

Mississippi State: Win

Georgia: L

Vanderbilt: Win

UL-Monroe: Win

Tennessee: Gosh, who knows? History is doomed to repeat itself.

Given their easier than normal schedule, I think they can go 6-6 and get to a bowl. Any time that you double your wins in a rebuilding era, you've done your job. It's not on the way that Tennessee judges success, but it's progress for a program that was hammered by the sins of a really crooked assistant coach.

I didn't think that Brooks could turn it around, but he's slowly winning me over because he does things the right way. I see a newfound swagger in the players, and a depth at each position that we haven't seen in a long time.
