How did I just now realize I got the SEC network?? I thought u had to order a special package or something..

Ok, I don't hate charter anymore..

Anybody tried watching it in the WatchESPN app on an Apple TV? I just looked for it, but it wasn't showing up in the list of channels. It shows up in the WatchESPN app on my phone.

So, I just noticed on my guide that I've also got a channel called SEC2. Is this going to be a multi channel thing?

Just taking a guess more than one ball game on at the same time or maybe a football game and soccer game..i dunno just taking a stab

I'm assuming it has to be. The Big10 network has 4 channels on DTV.

Yeah, somebody pointed out to me earlier that week 2,we play at noon on SECN, so does Bama. One will be on SEC2.

I seem to remember that the Big Ten Network had that, at least on DirecTV. It was only used when BTN aired more than one game; an overflow channel, in essence.

Basically, if there were 2 games going on at the same time, you'd be able to switch around to both of them, instead of being stuck with only one, like it is with most cable companies (don't know what you have).

Email I got from Charter states there are 2 HD channels and one standard channel. Wording makes me think it's the same broadcast just on 3 different channels.

One third of a season of Alabama football already, in less than 24 hours on the air. It looks like they're doing Georgia next (with another Alabama game in there).

At 7am Saturday, though, they're replaying the 1998 National Championship game! :rock:

The only thing I hated was that all the other teams seemed to have younger, more relevant entertainment folks talking about their teams and we had freakin Charlie Daniels?! Really? How stereotypical is that? That just played into everyone thinking we are a bunch of mountain men hillbillies--- are you telling me that is the best we could do?? I know Peyton said a few things but sheesh.

It's because of that song he had, the devil went down to... wait. IDK. Maybe Dolly Parton was busy. :)
