It would have been better if at the beginning of the chorus it cut to a packed, rowdy neyland crowd singing to finish up the commercial. Quiet and peaceful to LOUD.

Seconded. I was waiting for them to cut to Neyland to finish it off. That woulda been pretty cool.

How the F is some towel waving cock fans listening to Sandstorm better than a mother singing Rocky Top to her baby dressed in UT orange?

While it might be cool to us Vol fans, it doesn't get others (recruits, random channel surfers, etc) excited about Tennessee. However, you watch the USC or the LSU vid, and they look like they're having a hell of a time. It's just unfortunate because our game day atmosphere is 2nd to none, and that wasn't showcased on this large platform. They should have incorporated the crowd singing Rocky Top midway through to show what that baby will evolve into or something. Overall, just a boring video. And I'm sure 17 year old recruits will feel the same.

I kind of find it funny so many here don't like it....Any other place I've seen this discussed everyone loves the UT one.

They were probably UT fans...see above.

The one that stood out the most to me was an Bama fan saying it gave them chills....

It's a lot different than the other ones...I can see why some people might not like it as much though, definitely a lack of action.

I saw this video a couple days after my wife and I lost our first baby. Call it redneck, call it lack of football footage, call it whatever you want...this was an emotional and powerful video for me. I can't wait to sing Rocky Top to my baby.

Ours was the best. It represents us so well. As a toddler the one song I knew was rocky top... U are born a Tennessee fan. U don't just choose to be one .

I really didn't give a damn about UT until I was about 14. Although I was born in Fort Sanders on the UT/UF game, I didn't care about college sports until I was in high school. Now, when I have kids (soon), they will be UT fans from birth. But they'll have help. Both of my younger brothers are diehards (one is a USC baseball grad, the other is a junior in HS already accepted to UT) and were born in South Carolina, but they also had help 😎

Because it's boring. And she's not a good singer.

U say 17 year olds wouldn't make them want to play here. I disagree I think I'd love to play for a team that the fans won or lose will always be at my games. Not to many stadiums can get 80 thousand fans in it with a 5-7 record.
