So ESPN has hired Tebow as an analyst to go along with Paual Finebaum. A Florida homer and the biggest Bama homer on the face of the earth doing SEC football.

Does anyone expect these guys to be the least bit un-biased?

I think it absolutely sucks! Not that Tebow isn't a great person, I just can't imagine him or Finebaum being subjective and un-biased when it comes to Florida or Bama.

Bad move in my opinion. ESPN might have been ok with Tebow, but with Finebaum added to the mix its gonna turn into the Florida-Bamer homer show.

I hate that Finkbaum is on ESPN so much now, it's obvious that he's a Bama homer and he does little to hide it. I usually just change the channel when he comes on. Hopefully if they're gonna go the homer route on the SEC network then they'll hire some ex-Vols pretty soon. If not it might be un-watchable.

I think finebaum is more of an SEC homer. He does talk a lot about Bama but I think that has to do with him being in Bama and focusing on the Bama/Barn market.

Besides didn't he go to UT?

This all the way. He even rips delirious Bama fans now. He just plays to his audience.

I'd love to see them get Charles Davis.

Tebow's a good guy and all but he's never really come across as particularly bright.

Regardless, him being a gator homer and Finebaum being a Bama homer will probably make the SEC network unwatchable.

The only thing Finebaum is a homer for is Finebaum.

He's a tool. Can't believe the guy is a fellow UT Alum. He says crap to stir the pot and get notoriety rather than use sound logic at times..... you could tell with some of his "opinions" on Gameday this year. No way he could really believe some of the crap he said. Not a fan.

Finebaum's mug and mannerisms were made for radio. He is not unbiased to play the role of a moderator (like Fowler) and is not colorful enough to play the role of someone similar to Desmond, Herbie, DP, or Corso. Sounds like a boring team.

PF doesn't have the polished delivery of most of the ESPN crowd--like them or not.

I agree, Tebow is just a crowd draw. I assume his role will be small.

Never thought Tebow would come across as a good analyst. He seems to be a great guy but listening to him is not something I care to do.

They need to have a weekly throwback show featuring Majors, Dye, Dickey, and Vince Dooley. If fact, you could bring back the Geritol Hour from the Ted Mack days.

I read that Finebaum was going to play the Corso role on the pregame show next year. All those former coaches available, and that's the direction they go?

Yet, here you are talking about him.
I would say his mission is accomplished.

Does every SEC team need to have a homer on the show? If U don't like it don't watch it. whichever team is giving the network the best ratings is who'll they will focus on!

Your just upset because they will never focus on vandy. Ever.

Even during vandys record highs and UTs record lows vandy wasn't even the most talked about team in TN.

This. Or get Doug Mathews or Phillip Fulmer neither of them could be any more of a homer for UT than Lou Holtz is for Notre Dame. Plus there wouldn't be a need for a spit shield.

Doug would be an excellent choice. Already does a SEC radio show on saturday morn.

If they're going the Finebaum route they might as well add Clay Travis. Between those two they could piss everybody off.....and would probably be entertaining.

That would be very entertaining. Might even pay to hear the back and forth between those two.

Maybe Tebow can share stories about crazy nights in college staying up to 10 drinking milk and watching the Walton's
