SEC office to help Alabama with schedule

Just want to be clear. Saban was presented with 4 national title trophies. Do you count each individual trophy as a title, or do you just add one for the BCS, AP, and the Tuscaloosa laundromat?

On the real, Bama deserves a break. Hey, when was the last time a team has went undefeated back to back in the SEC?

So why would that make them deserving of a break if they already dominated for 2 years?

I agree, but I wonder if the league office (I forget where it's located) would care if another member school not coming off a national title and not named Alabama found itself in the same situation.

Opponents coming off bye weeks since 2007. Add five to Bama if you count the initial 2010 schedule (USCe, UT, LSU, Ole Miss, and Auburn).

Hard to say the SEC office "favors" Bama. Looks like they're in love with Arky and SC.

I think bama should get a break here as well, but id like to see some action for scheduling standards by the sec. x amount of conference opponents coming of byes, everybody gets one, etc. shouldn't be too difficult.

Agreed. It seems that there's an easy fix for this that could be applied all 12 teams.

Then again, some things just make too much sense.

You left out Miss Tippi Tate. Six SEC teams have a bye week in 2010 prior to their game with Alabama. Thank you Kramer and the SEC office. Now that Kramer is gone, hopefully a bit more fairness emerges in the conference scheduling.

Probably, if they complained enough. A schedule like that in the SEC simply isn't fair.

I believe that if it is a pattern it could easily happen to someone else too. Pushing for a rule change makes more sense than a one year deal to help only one team.
