SEC officials miss another

What would be interesting, if Les Miles did speak out, is how much would he be fined. The same amount as UM, or more?

I thought it was an interception but after looking at it a few times I was not sure that his foot did not touch the white line. Much as I hate to say that not sure if that was the worse call I have ever seen.

of course it would be more, alot more. Punish LM for trying to spoil his plans for a Bama/UF SEC championship game.

I kinda agree with you TX, I think he would be fined a lot more. I bet Slive HATED fining UM.

I'll chip in to the fund if Les Myles wants to complain about the officiating. It's just like this as an opinion, Slive and the SEC officiating are corrupt this year. It's obvious to the general public and it's even obvious to some bookies these days where it's rumored they aren't taking bets on some UF or Bama games. The Slive led SEC is doing everything it can to protect the UF Bama game. They've it done since the very first polls were released. We have a corruption problem in the SEC and it starts with Slive. The fake Spikes no punishment followed up by the cozy arrangement and timing of Meyer being fined ( he cfan wipe his donkey with $30k)is just further evidence how the SEC officials have been colluding with UF this year all along. Bama has been saved multiple times. There is a stain of corruption on the SEC and it starts with the blot that is Slive in my opinion. The SEC should be vying for the NC year in and year out, but not like this, not with this table tilting that has occurred.

Nonsense. To even buy any of this pathetic argument is to believe that somehow Slive could control the refs on the field. What exactly are the "several times" that Bama has been saved? Bama is something like the 6th most penalized team in the SEC. Somewhere right in the middle. Did the refs SAVE Bama against UT? I think that has been thoroughly proven to be false. Did the refs SAVE Bama in the seven games before that? Exactly when?

And today, whether it was an interception or not, Bama was dominating the game, more than 200 yards on offense MORE than LSU. Bama's D was playing lights out in the fourth quarter, and Bama had the lead when the call happened...

You have a coach who enjoys making excuses for losses. Too bad the fans are just as bad.

is that worse than a coach who makes excuses for winning by a narrow margin???

I've never heard so much whining in my life! Of course I've rarely met a Vol fan that didn't. Move along.

you obviously didnt see the UF v MSU call that was not overturned...

Water is wet ....sky is blue ...ref's cheat for florida and bama.

what about the bad spot on 3rd down on Lsu first drive,it was odvious they had a 1st down but the ref spoted the ball back almost a yard.and what about Lsu qb getting speard in the chest with the ref right there, and no call. The int. call was just pitiful.and im sure theres a couple more i didnt catch.

I can't believe Bama fans would get on here and stick up for a call that went their way......what an absolutely shocking occurrence

The whole of the officiating stinks this year if you ask me. Gotta protect the comodities (i.e. fla and bama) wouldn't want a meaningless SEC title game now would we?

I think the SEC told Urban to gripe about the refs so they could fine him...just for the pure fact that they could show that that Mike and the rest was showing no favoritism....make it look real.

No the worst call I have ever seen was the 2000 UT/UF game.

Well they've gotten the two teams they want in the Championship game now, just think guys just a few more blown calls to keep them unbeaten to go. Then they can screw each other in the SEC championship game. I guess whoever pays the refs the most will win that one. Don't worry they'll get back to being fair with the rest of the conference next year. Right now Slive and the gang have money to be made and can't bother with people who think games should be called fairly.

For what he should say about the refs after that official review. Horrible. Just horrible. That was an interception in the NFL :banghead2:

Careful now, we could end up with a Minority Report type of situation. Slive would have Tom Cruise running around fining/suspending people for just 'thinking' about bad mouthing the refs.... :whistling:

@Tidal Surge - that's weak, throwing a tinfoil hat up trying to dismiss the issues with officiating by marginalizing it with a silly photo.
