This will never change until the main stream media gets ahold of it and turns up the heat. First step for all the fans of the SEC would be to move the main headquarters of officials for the SEC out of Birmingham !

There are definitely a couple of guys who should be terminated. TV Teddy Valentine comes to mind. He’s just arrogantly incompetent. I can handle arrogance and I can handle incompetence but it’s impossible to tolerate arrogant incompetence!

I would say we lost A&M from that and won Alabama from it, so we’re even. A&M was the worst refereed game I’ve seen outside of that Kentucky game a few years ago, Alabama was pretty bad too but biased towards us.

We lost the SC game the other nite on the Flop they called Fulky with bumping the defender. A academy performance by the SC guy. Looked like something coached out of Memphis

Exactly whoever believes that the officials are not affecting games is not paying attention. I hope today is called halfway accurate.

Not so, as it pertains to what constitutes a foul. Watching other leagues's games reminds me more of playground/street b-ball than the way b-ball was intended to be played. The way guys "roughhouse" now as to the way the game was played "way back" is the difference in daylight and dark.
Now, that being said, I still think our refs. fail when it comes to impartiality. i.e., home as to way teams and slant toward "helping" certain teams/coaches.

You can put your head in the sound and just not care or the conference can do something about it. There is no doubt that college officiating is affecting the game, and the SEC must enjoy being on top in that category. It’s why I don’t watch much anymore. College ball is awful right now, and officiating is a big part of it.

Same crowd that backs law enforcement no matter what. It's the main reason why neither are held accountable, which is why both have gotten out of control.

This is exactly what makes SEC BB unwatchable. Refs put one team at a disadvantage with cheap fouls that put key players in foul trouble AND allow rough play at the same time. Fulkerson is getting hammered.

Once the refs decided not to call pushing, the game was basically decided, like I had said 2 minutes in. We just don’t handle that well, leads to tons of turnovers, etc. Same thing against LSU

Just before Fulk threw the ball into the backcourt for the late turnover the defender was repeatedly hammering him right in front of the ref. After the first of 2 foul shots by TN he was practically tossed across the lane. If the refs are going to let them play, fine. But why do they do that AFTER putting our best players in early foul trouble? We can't push back at that point without risking getting into even deeper foul trouble. Unwatchable basketball.
