SEC officiated games and other conferences

Wiley and others with elbows to backs every entry pass today, hands on defense all day.. Then Vesco gets 2 phantom fouls and a carry, which Doughty does every play

As Bob and Bert pointed out, SEC refs aren't used to seeing European Style point guard play. They call travels that aren't. But not a surprise that they also missed a few. SEC officiating is just abysmal. There's just way too much money involved for the SEC to be administered in such a po dunk manner. It's time to move the SEC offices out of bum f*** Alabama and move them to a city where professionals would rather live. Atlanta or Nashville.

It's awful, zero consistency whatsoever. It makes the sport damn near unwatchable. Nobody wants to watch two teams hit the double bonus 8 minutes into a half.

I've heard that coaches with a physical roster practically dare the refs to keep calling fouls. Officials aren't going to foul out 8 or 10 players, but maybe that's what it would take to get basketball back to how it's supposed to be played.

Pearl lives by this motto and he did it here. Which hurts him in the tournament bc they don't let him play football. I hate Pearl btw, wish him bad things in his life.

Similar to what the Seattle Seahawks did in the NFL a few years ago during the LOB era. They figured refs would only call so many defensive holding/pass interference penalties, so they just did it every play and lived with the flags that were thrown

All the fouls just ruin the pace of the games. They should call the egregious fouls, but let the rest go and just let the guys play.

Fulkerson has been hammered all year and it’s been disgusting to watch the opponents get away with it. I’ll give him credit for maintaining his composure.

That was a comical sequence yesterday when Fulkerson threw the ball into the backcourt for a turnover. The Auburn player chest bumps him. The ref tried to intervene. The Auburn guy does it again, possibly harder, right in front of the ref. Finally Fulkerson hits the Auburn player in his chest with both fists, catches the ball, stumbles as he's falling away, and then flings the ball to nobody and into the backcourt. Then, unless I'm mistaken, Pearl gets the refs to go back and review the scrapping after another play or two thereby stealing a free time out in the middle of TN's scoring run.

You've obviously never played basketball before.

Yes, I did like most kids before you were a gleam in your daddy's eye. Just too short to be much good at it. But did learn what a foul was as it pertained to the original intent of the game.

Florida's secondary has also been doing that for years, for what it's worth.
