Vitello won’t leave UT for Mizzou. He might somewhere else but I doubt Missouri even though he went there.

Yes, he and his staff deserve BIG raises and more.

Can you believe it? The fact that we go into next weekend against Arkansas controlling our own destiny is wild. I still think we'll probably lose the series 1-2, but the fact that we have a CHANCE to win the whole SEC with two weekends to go is remarkable. No matter what happens, what an incredible season. Considering the talent gap between us and teams like Vandy, Arkansas, and Miss State it's been a special year. I hope we can make a post-season run and finish this season off right.

Talent gap? Tony Vitello is not a magician, he is a really good coach. You do not win in this league with inferior talent. If you go position by position and compare our team to any team in the country, you will find our team has equal or better talent at most positions. The only place we might have a disadvantage is velo in the bullpen. The thing about velo though is that it does you no good if you can’t throw strikes and mix in off speed for strikes as well. I would take our pen any day over most though because they do not beat themselves.

I personally don’t see the talent gap either, yea if you read all the hype but that doesn’t match what my eyes have seen. These boys can play , I mean look at this Line up from top to bottom. Ask Jack Leiter , Jaden Hill. , Luke Murphy , Christian Scott and tommy Mace what they think of UT’s Line up.... these guys are fearless and competitive! They can throw a punch with the best and don’t ever quit. I like our chances every pitch. These guys can turn it around. From top to bottom I think they are the good as anyone. Said it from beginning, And I don’t think we are done. Get a couple more Arms in the Pen such as MM , JR and EP..... look out... just good solid outings in key spots. If they do , I think this team is in Omaha . And then I like our chances there as well. If this team gets to Omaha, they will make some noise . I think the longer they play the more the confidence gets stronger. I think we in. 2 out of 3 this weekend. I really do.

I'm really hoping and...well, hoping that AD White takes Vitello very seriously. CTV really wants to stay at UT, but we've got to upgrade facilities, pay his staff, and make him know we realize (monetarily) he's one of the best in college BB...and he is.

We hired a top 5 AD for a reason. Actually a few reasons. This is one of them.
