How do you come to that conclusion? But yeah I think they will roll them.

We've scored 30 points this year exactly twice, once to a 2-3 1-AA team and the other it took multiple overtimes. Other than those two games we have yet to break 20. Our special teams is average (at best) and our defense isn't that great to provide scores. That is why I do not thing we will score 38 points.

As to why I don't think we will win by 25. UGA has a decent enough offense to where I think it's logical enough to assume that we won't hold them to single digits. That said, we'll need need to score a lot of points. Based on my rationale for for why I don't think we'll score 38 points, I hope it can be implied that I don't think we can score enough points to beat them by 25.

BOP1 "Oregon will be good as long as they go with Thomas and not Costa" Duckintn "Yeah right Costa will be the starter, Hes really great hes been in this offense for 5 yrs, He beat UCLA last yr." BOP1 "Oregons offense put up a whole 17 points against UCLA. And Chip Kelly has only been at Oregon for 4 yrs." " Well Gary Crowton runs the same offense." BOP1 "Have you seen LSU play? besides Kelly came up with that offense." DuckinTN "But they both run the spread, its almost the same"

Does anyone else remember this conversation? You dont even know anything about your own team.

There was the one USC fan that (before the season started) said he would take UW, USC, OSU, and Cal's RB's over Barner and James...

USC fans consistantly told us how mcknight was far better than best, and washington far better than marshawn lynch.

That conversation never happened. Gary Crowton is a ****ing idiot, and I've known this for quite a while.

As for the Thomas/Costa discussion, I never said that he had been "great" in our offense, but it was my (and most other people's) guess that he would get the nod since he had been in the system since 2007.

My opinion on who would be the starter also changed after hearing reports from practice. About halfway through, I had the guy feeling that DT would be the guy, and I was glad when it was announced that he got the job.

Marshawn Lynch is a 10 on the unintentional comedy scale.

But man, he was scary as an RB.

And when I find this thread will you promise to never post on volnation again?

You'll find a thread, but you will never find me saying that Kelly and Crowton's offenses were anything more similar than that they are both spread offenses.

You will probably also find me saying that I thought that Costa would get the job and do well with it, but this was before the reports about DT's excellent performance in fall practice that swayed my opinion about the job.

Add to it that UGA has given up more than 30 once in 5 games (31 to Arkansas) and that is another reason we will not score 38 points.

How do you know this?

read the practice reports.

he said he had one of the most spirited practices he's ever had. lose an embarrasing game to someone you should have run off the field and you get pissed. now compare that to a team that lost because they had 13 guys on the field. I don't see Tenn being up for this game.

Yes, but the 1-4 team will be because their HC is leading them onto the field and they had a practice with a lot of jumping around and head slapping.

UGA's backs are up against the wall. I can see this game going either big for UGA or close for TN. Just like Fulmer a couple years back was four plays being 9-3 instead of 5-7. So, I think Richt continues the one play away from a win trend. The Vols were on play away from beating #10 last weekend. So, who is the one play king this weekend?

This is hands down my biggest concern this week. it's a very young team and I'm wondering how much heart the older guys can possibly have left.

that's my thinking. it's extremely demoralizing to lose a game because of something you didn't do (though obviously some of the players screwed it up to get 13 on the field).

It's been my thinking all week since I got in the car to drive home from Baton Rouge. I just don't see how this team can possibly be that fired up to play, regardless of what they tell the media.
