SEC Quarterback Most Likely to Pull a Joe Burrow

Agree that Burrow was incredible with his running and elusiveness. That was probably the most underrated part of his game.

I’m not saying Trask will hurt people with his legs like Burrow did, but I am saying he can be effective at times. He was a little on the thick/stiff side last year and losing 15 lbs will help that, but he’ll never be a Joe Burrow running or scrambling.

But he’s poised to have a phenomenal year throwing the ball. His accuracy and touch was remarkable last year particularly for a guy without a lot of game reps.
He definitely seemed head and shoulder above Franks. Don’t know much about UF’s o-line, but pretty sure he was some senior WR’s to work with, so the potential is there for him to have a good year. His success will probably be determined on whether or not UF can get a ground game going. Was shocked when UF threw it on 4th and short against UGA last year.

O-line should be the best of Mullen’s 3 years. 4 of 5 starters return, top backup returns, plus added huge transfer and 3-year starter from Miss State, Stewart Reese. Also added some really good Freshmen recruits, Josh Braun probably the best of that group.

At WR, Trask will have some options. Tre Grimes and Kyle Pitts are the obvious go-to guys, Jacob Copeland and Kedarius Toney will be options as well. And then there are a hand full of talented young guys who will be in the mix.

I’m with ya on UF throwing on 3rd and 4th and short. They sorta did that all year, it was frustrating.

Kyle Pitts is getting into Percy Harvin territory as far as players I hate to see on Florida’s sideline. Those guys are complete game changers IMO. I’ll be happy when he’s gone.

Both great although very different. Percy is greatest playmaker I’ve ever seen.

56 catches last year for Pitts, he may get 80 this year.

Dude had the best season by a college QB in the history of the game. No one from the SEC is doing anything close to that this year. If you’re looking for who will take a step forward then Jones at Bama is an obvious choice if he holds off that 5* kid. Trask should be good but I think Jones might have the better season.
