Possibly. Maybe they give Davis 1st team and Stokes All-Fresh. Would be kewl.

He can get both.

Davis and MKG will probably be 1st team and freshman team.

Stokes should make it on IMO though. Who's better?

And I don't wanna hear he didn't play a whole year, that makes what he has done even more impressive.

Definitely. I hate Kentucky with all my heart, but it's not so much of a violent hate anymore. I really respect what Cal has done since he's been at UK. It's pretty amazing that he seems like he can do this year after year.

But anyway, UK can suck it. VB!!!

The Coaches All-SEC team with individual awards will be released on Tuesday, March 6. This year’s awards include: First and Second All-SEC Teams, All-Freshman Team, All-Defensive Team, Coach of the Year, Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Sixth Man of the Year and Freshman of the Year.

I hope some Vols get picked! Maybe Maymon or Golden 2nd team? McRae Sixth Man?? Surely a Vol on the All-Defensive team.

Will update when titles are awarded. Don't worry guys, tomorrow is my birthday, so we'll definitely get a player or two in there!:rock2::rock2::rock2::rock2::wassup:

Coach Martin should get coach of the year. I know Cal and Kentucky is undefeated, but Tennessee was picked to finish 11th in the SEC. We finished 2nd behind Kentucky. Nobody has done a better job coaching than Martin.:pepper::salute::popcorn:

Nobody but John Calipari. First undefeated SEC season in since 2002-2003 with a 15.5 point margin of victory trumps an 18-13 overall record regardless of talent differential.

You are probably correct, but please do consider this: Kentucky was picked first, and finished first. The SEC is not exactly a powerhouse conference this year, perhaps diminishing the accomplishment of finishing undefeated. The talent level at UK is so far above the rest of the conference it's sad. However, I accept that Coach Cal deserves the credit for having brought such talent to UK.

UT was picked 11th and finished 2nd with exceptional coaching along the way. Not only that, but finishing amazingly strong after a dismal start to the SEC campaign is noteworthy.

My hope is for co-coaches of the year. They are both deserving and both should share the prize IMO. UK fans have a lot to be proud of this year, but I truly doubt that they are any more proud of their team than we are of ours. That's saying a lot, considering that one team is a lock for a #1 seed in the Tourney and one team may not even get in!

Cuonzo is a first year coach, which put him behind the 8 ball to begin with. With losses to Oakland, CofC, and AP this team could easily have folded. I think it says a lot about the coach to get a group of young men through adversity in a season and not lose focus and keep the right attitude.

It's not a shot at Kentucky but I think anyone with a lick of basketball knowledge could coach from the Kentucky bench and their record would not vary by much. But, that's just the luxury when you bring in the top talent each year so kudos to him. Granted, he did teach a group of freshman and sophomores to play very mature together.

Cal-Most Impressive
Cuonzo- Most Valuable

If I had a vote, I would split it between Calipari and Martin. I think they have done equally great jobs.
