I saw nothing that would make us a 10 win team at that time. We had just gotten crushed at Memphis and Stokes hadn't played yet. The loss to Peay really concerned me. At that time, the team had still not bought into Martin's defensive style. I was hoping that loss wasn't a sign of things to come. Instead, it was a good thing for the team. I think Martin used it to his advantage to show the guys that you aren't beating anyone unless you commit to his style of defense. Even though we still had our ups and downs against Memphis, Candy and Ky on the road, we became a much better team.
