Georgia plays NOBODY before we play them. That sucks and that's the old Florida schedule that I used to get mad about.

That could be a really good thing. Their new QB first true road game is Neyland.

I like our chances

I don’t get why they keep acting like Bama LSU is always some highly anticipated matchup
Because viewership-numbers-wise, it has been…since like the mid-to-late 2000s.

There’s a reason the conference and the networks have have been so overly gung-ho about keeping that game on the conference calendar whenever any talks about conference scheduling are entered (or come up).

Checked the dates of the Arkansas and Oklahoma games and don’t think I have anything that will conflict. So it looks like Hogs or Sooners for me. Hoping to make my first Tennessee game in 2025.

I would rather have UGA early. Get that game out of the way. Sometimes it feels like they are a slow starting team.

If Florida suffers a couple loses early they won't have a bounce back year. Sun Belt Billy is on a short leash and if they have their third loss in October that program might fall apart. Outside of this year it seems like they are always a shell of themselves at the end of the season
Agree about UGA but man this past year flies in the face of everything you said about Florida.

Love Syracuse to open. Orange on orange in Atlanta. We're 3-0 all-time against the Orangemen, should be 4-0 after this opener.

Georgia early is an advantage, I think. While both teams are still figuring out our identities. And it's in Neyland.

At Miss St is one of the easier away games we could pull.

Arkansas coming to us sounds like payback, to me.

At Alabama is gonna be tough.

At Kentucky, on the other hand, we're going shopping.

Oklahoma comes to us, should be 2-0 for us over the newest SEC member.

At Florida in late November? Oh hell yah. This is the best possible time to go to the Swamp.

10-2 is center of mass, with 11-1 as the push. 12-0 isn't impossible, but we gotta get over the UGa hump, and we gotta handle Bama in their house.

Go Vols!

Georgia drops off the schedule in 2026 and 2027.
If, and this is a big if, the SEC decides to go with the 7 teams that the Vols didn’t play in 2024 and 2025, you could see
No UGA, NO BAMA, NO UF, and NO UK in both 2026 and 2027. Ummm 🤔…seriously? Just can’t see that happening.
I’ll bet changes are made before the 2026 schedule is set.

i wouldnt mind a cupcake SEC schedule like Texas got this year in 26 and 27 considering we will likely be breaking in a new QB at that time.

Cant ask for better open dates. 5 games then the first one followed by 4 games then the second one and then the last 3 games
I don't really like the bye week followed by New Mexico State. I would much rather it be before an SEC game. Its kinda like having two bye weeks in a row. I would rather see those breaks spread out.

I know that it was once legitimately a premier game, but it hasn’t felt like that this whole decade

No mention of "piped in crowd noise"?
Kind of unrelated yet related, and no lying here. 100% Clemson DOES. I was fishing up by their stadium a month or so back, and about 9 a.m., they started running through the jumbotron clips they wanted to use for the game. I was shocked when suddenly it sounded like a legacy player had just walked on the field right before kick-off. They 100% pipe crowd noise in whenever they want a pop out of the crowd. It happened for about an hour off and on.
