SEC Scoreboard just made some good points about the Vols that will have the negavols pulling their hair out.

Held three time SBC champs to under 20 points. They had scored 20+ in their past six games.

Justin Worley's "pin-point" accuracy and decision making.

The inexperienced O-line assists for 168 yards in rushing vs. 110 yards in the opener.

I have to admit, I didn't know too much about ASU before the game. I felt like we would have a more commanding win in the points column. However, after looking a little deeper into out OOC opponents' history, I am satisfied with where we are at.

I also tend to forget that a large portion of these warriors I am watching on the battlefield were in highschool last year.

I honestly feel like our first two OOC games were much better opponents than the majority of the opponents that our SEC bretheren have played.

TIFWIW, but I'm excited about the OU game. I feel like Team 118 has gotten a lot of experience with mobile QBs, Knighten may be the most "dual-threat" QB we face this year, and will continue to improve containment. Our defense has been much improved this season and AJ is truly a beast.

This!

Just caught the LSU highlights. The team they were playing literally looked like middle schoolers. And I'm not exaggerating.

How embarrassing for LSU and the SEC. Unbelievable.

I'm pumped for OU. Bring it on!

People outside of the program are more impressed with our team than our fans.

You're right. That's called being objective and not "we gonna whip dey azz!!"

If VN could just find that happy medium... Well, this would be a much less entertaining message board if that happened. :)

Neither did 90% of our fan base. Thats why so many people expected a 56-3 type win and are freaking out right now. Vegas set the line at 16 and we won by 15. Meaning we pretty much performed as the experts expected.

A lot of people on here put way to much into the USU victory, then turned around and did the exact opposite in this victory.

We got a Bi-Polar fanbase.

Not so much that as the fact that we have a gigantic fanbase. When you have one as large as ours there are going to be times when people disagree with each other. For the most part (not 100% sure because it is possible there are people this stupid out there) the people that were hyping us after the USU game are not the ones jumping off a cliff after the Arky State game.

Well, all of that is wrong wrong wrong!
I have heard several experts here on this site say so.

Some of our fans. Way more negative ninnies around here than I ever remember there being before, even in the worst of the Dooley days. Guess it's hard to see light when you've been in the dark so long.

Nicholls St was an absolute joke of a team for Arkansas. They lose to D2 schools.

To an extent I agree, op. Ark st is not Sam Houston state, but if we expect to go toe to toe with Oklahoma, Georgia, and Florida in the coming weeks than we will have to play much better. As it stands, we will probably be dogs in each of those games, with an outside shot of winning. And yes, half the team is freshmen. So none of this should come as a surprise.

Vegas sets the line to entice people to bet, they could care less as to who wins

I'm happy with the win and yes Arky State was a quality opponent. The lack of success in the run game, however is a huge concern!

Who said they cared? Those lines are where the experts set the safe money, where the payout is the least because that is the expectation of performance.. Other outcomes pay more because that would be an unexpected outcome. Has nothing to do with caring, and everything to do with where they think the money can be made.

However "we gonna whip dey azz" I find to be pretty uplifting and I laugh every time I read it. Although I know it's been all too commonly inaccurate in the past few years it has kept me away from the edge of the window and off the bottle.
