Neither did 90% of our fan base. Thats why so many people expected a 56-3 type win and are freaking out right now. Vegas set the line at 16 and we won by 15. Meaning we pretty much performed as the experts expected.

If anyone had bothered to watch a little film on Arkansas State, they would have saw that they run a poor man's Oregon offense which relies on their speed. All things considered, other than a couple of drives our D held them in check. We probably could have scored some more, but to prove what? Butch wanted to work out the kinks in the running game when we were ahead. I'm also glad we didn't go for it on 4th late in the game, and Butch got Medley another shot to redeem himself from an earlier miss. We are going to need a consistent kicker if we have any hopes of pulling off any upsets.

I really think that yesterdays SEC OOC was the worst day of football in the SEC in years, if not ever. Bama, LSU. Texas A&M,Florida, Arkansas,Auburn, etc. just all horrible opponents. Tennessee, South Carolina and Mississippi St. were really the only teams that played competent teams. BTW, Vandy suxs.:mf_surrender:
I did revel in watching THE Ohio St. get waxed by Va. Tech. I also thought Mich. State had the Ducks on the ropes until they got quacked on big time in the second half.

However "we gonna whip dey azz" I find to be pretty uplifting and I laugh every time I read it. Although I know it's been all too commonly inaccurate in the past few years it has kept me away from the edge of the window and off the bottle.

Yes, I understand that. My point is they didn't set the line at 40, which is where a lot of our fans probably would have set it.

Agree.........................also, I like the fact that CBJ does not try to run up the score when the game is in the bag.
