Oddly, Sanford and Son, Three's Company, and rather famously All in the Family were all originally British comedies adapted for America.Sanford and Son, Three's Company, The Righteous Gemstones, Tommy Boy or anything with Farley etc. etc. Way too much too list. Just not a big fan of British comedy.
Oh I know. But they still weren't the same. It's just a different kind of comedy.Oddly, Sanford and Son, Three's Company, and rather famously All in the Family were all originally British comedies adapted for America.
Most recently, of course, The Office was originally a British idea adapted to America.
Yes. I thought it was really good/funny then...Which era of SNL? SNL was hilarious and at its peak in the 90’s into the early 2000’s
Then this happened, mixed with poor material/writing, and a cast that overtly thinks they are hilarious...like they think they are funnier than anyone watching them thinks they are funny.Monty python, mad T.V, Snl, this. All of these shows were good when they made fun of everyone. But when you become biased it is no longer funny. I think these guys make fun of everyone. Satire is the greatest form of flattery
...and then I stopped watching...and when I did see a skit now and then it wasn't very good...IMO. Now I thought the Nate Bargatze stuff was really good recently. Maybe it's better. SNL has always went up and down through the decades.I watch it every week. How often do you watch?
