For those that don’t get the Aaron Judge thing because they were at the game, apparently they kept cutting away from the college football games to show Aaron Judge at bat for the Yankees. He was about to break some record or something. People were not happy.
Especially because his at-bats kept being duds, so they would show the next at-bat, over and over. Hence the “Who gives a…”
I had to have a buddy explain it to me. But that’s hilarious.
Worst part about it is he isn’t about to break a MLB record. It’s 73 and he’s at 60 (well I guess if AL records are important to you then he’s doing something). It’s mostly a drummed up media thing because he’s a Yankee and trying to inject life into a slowly fading spectator sport. For those that don’t get the Aaron Judge thing because they were at the game, apparently they kept cutting away from the college football games to show Aaron Judge at bat for the Yankees. Actually a lot of us still consider 61 to be the record since all the others were juiced up.Worst part about it is he isn’t about to break a MLB record. I hope the Yankees win 120 games every season and lose in the first round. I hope the red Sox finish in last.Worst part about it is he isn’t about to break a MLB record.
