Could not happened to a better guy than Walton and would double great if Myers gets the boot as well.

Walton had/has such a great pitching staff he chose the lefty rather than going for the pitcher of the year. Karma is a BIT**!:):rock::clapping:

I heard before the game that Ole Miss had not scored a run against florida in their last four games. Walton must have felt confident going with his no. 2, if in fact that was his number 2. In any case, that is a huge upset. Doesn't really matter to florida as they are still going to get the top seed in the nation, I think. Oregon might nip them, but I doubt it.

We need to beat lsu to lock down a national seed for the tournament. We might be top 8 now but it is close with Minnesota and Washington. So this game definitely matters.

Yup, some coaches over the years have shown through personnel decision they don't put a priority on winning a single elimination SEC tournament. Walton never really has been all about it. I'd be willing to bet you get 3-4 of them willing to cancel it.

His last post was 4/27 and it's unlike him to not follow the Ladys. Does anyone have an update? We may have to start a VN Search on him.......it's been done before:yes:.
