ive heard rondo will go high. not heard on where brewer will land. id expect davis and thomas from lsu to take a look, the same with corey brewer. ive also heard that al horford of uf to go highly.

yeah, i saw that. here would be my list. these are guys that may jump:

Alabama(3)-
Jermareo Davidson PF
Ronald Steele PG
Richard Hendrix PF

Arkansas(1)-
Ronnie Brewer SG

Florida(2)-
Al Horford PF
Corey Brewer SF

Kentucky(2)-
Randolph Morris C
Rajon Rondo PG

LSU(3)-
Darrel Mitchell SG
Tyrus Thomas PF
Glen Davis C

Miss St(1)-
Jamont Gordon PG

That is all I could come up with. I don't see anyone coming close from Auburn, Ole Miss, or South Carolina. Vandy has 1 possibility in Derrick Byars. Georgia has 2 possibilities in Sundiata Gaines and Mike Mercer. I could see talk about Taurean Green and/or Joakim Noah from Florida as well. We may have 2 in Chris Lofton and Major Wingate. Lofton likely will stay 4 years though, and Wingate just had a scout whispering in his ear so that won't happen.

i really dont see glen davis going he is undersized and way to overweight.even if he does go i dont see him doing nothing great in his career. hes just too short and too big

i dont really see him gettin taller, but for his size, he is extremely athletic. he is athletic for a guy that weighs 250. he dominated sec play his fresh and soph years.

hes a good college player i just think that the quality centers in the nba(which there arent that many anymore)are just to tall and too athletic. the only good center with that kind of height in the nba is ben wallace and hes a lot more athletic than davis is.

Lofton is thought to be alot like JJ Redick. He is awesome in college, but is a question as to if he will be successful in the NBA.

I agree about Davis, but he could be valued.

Can't see Lofton doing any damage in the NBA. Given the dearth of big men in the NBA, Thomas and the Alabama guys will certainly take a look at jumping to the league. If you're going to go in the top 10 you have to go. Talking to people at Knick games, there is a huge chasm of opinion on Brewer. Some think he will be a terrific pro, others think he will be a journeyman.

To hear Gator fans talk, Noah, Brewer, and Horford are in love with each other and Gainesville and wanna stay there all four years. Apparently they see where Roberson and Walsh are playing this year.

I recall almost verbatim the same was said about Charles Barkley.

Corey Brewer has no business thinking about the NBA right now. Guys like him are a dime a dozen in the League. He has to expand his game. Otherwise, it would be wise for him to take some Italian or Spanish classes.

I agree..I call him the poor mans Jackie Manual on the Gator boards and they hate me for it! From UF I've seen Hortford listed in the top 10...also, Noah would be the other I worry about....Brewer and Green not so much as of now.

I think he's better than Manual, but that's not a bad analogy. For some reason, people just don't understand how hard it is to make it in the League.

Yeah offensively I think he surpassed him this yr..but Defensively I'll give the egde to JM...Redick never scored more than 17 against him.

BTW just saw these #'s on a UNC board comparing McCants and Redick for the first 3 yrs:

ppg: RM-17.6, JR-17.5
total points: RM-1721, JR-1805
fg% RM-.486, JR-.421
3pt% RM-.415, JR-.399
ft% RM-.721, JR-.938
rebounds RM-397, JR-304
assists RM-204, JR-211
steals RM-145, JR-50
blocks RM-61, JR-7
games played RM-98, JR-103

You'll never see a top 10 ACC scorer from UNC since most of them are NBA ready by the end of their Jr yr if they stay that long.

Most guys at any ACC school that can score at that level against quality competition is NBA ready. Magette, Brand, Williams, etc. Duke has had the same issue in the past 10 years. Reddick is an exceptional case. He's done it by being a good scorerfor three years, then exploding his senior year.

Considering his FG and 3pt % is higher I'd say he took less shots than JJ did.
That would be correct. He may have been a jerk, but McCants was a very efficient player.
