SEC vs Auburn offense.

I won't say it can't be stopped. It's just something that's hard to prepare for because you only see it once a year. It's much like the Georgia Tech when they gave people a lot of trouble. Actually looking at it it's just like the triple option only they are playing out of the shot guy.

FSU will stop it because much like LSU they have a very athletic front 7 who understand how to keep backside contain, and DE's who turn plays back into their LBs

Auburn was not clicking when they played LSU. Now they will run all over FSU. Auburns o-line is skilled. Not saying FSU scores one more point. The over/under has to be 80

This championship matchup looks similar to the last one Auburn played. Oregon blew everyone out while Auburn barely scraped by Kentucky that year.

He has not been unstoppable. If that were the case then he would be going undefeated all the time.

Poor choice of words. But his offense has been extremely impressive. And I don't buy into the notion that defenses will "figure them out".

It really doesn't have much in common with the GT Triple Option at all. Gary Danielson mislabeled it and everybody ran with it. In my opinion it has much more flexibility than the triple option as Malzahn can adapt it to a QB that can pass the ball(see 2009 and 2010).

It is like the triple option in that u have to be very disciplined. But its a different scheme. Auburn runs primarily read option and inverted veer.

Yes his offense has been impressive but it will get figured out. Like I said every offense gets figured out eventually. Gus will not be ableto run this same offense year after year. He will have to make adjustments and variations. You'll see.

they weren't clicking, because Chief was LSUs coach and he had a good game plan against them

I disagree. I believe a true offensive system contains constraint plays that prevent the defense from over adjusting to any one thing.

And all the rules are in their favor also.

Gus has had one two great years in the SEC running his offense and two mediocre years. One great year came with Cam Newton. He also could have very easily lost to UGA and Bama this year and then we're not having this discussion. I think he's a brilliant guy offensively but his offense is certainly stoppable.

Watch Sal's LB's take care of Gus in the NC game by playing perfect assignment - just to torture us some more.

Neither of those teams stopped his offense and the we were up big in the 4th when Murray went balls out.

Ideally, the offense would be more balanced 60/40 run/pass but Marshall isn't as great of a passer and nobody could stop the run anyway. NM didn't get in until Fall camp so there were some limitations there.

He set school records with Chris ****ing Todd his first year.

He has had the benefit of two great olines (2010 & 2013).

Very underrated job that year. Pretty much blew away all of the Auburn offensive records and ended up ranked 2nd in the SEC in total offense.

People forget that Auburn had Bama on the ropes in the Iron Bowl that year as well.

The defense that year was horrific however.
