SEC West Violations (RUMOR)

I can't believe in the age of instant media, that anyone would sit on a story. The chance of another media outlet breaking the story is simply too great.

The story is either bogus or not all that damning.

LSU is being investigated right now for their relationship with that Lyles pimp.

Yahoo broke the story on Lyles and Oregon. LSU was also discussed shortly after that interview. Remember Lyles telling the Yahoo guy about having a relationship with LSU and Miles.

If you connect all of the dots it seems that this "story they are sitting on" has to do with LSU. That's my guess.

Peterson and Lyles are connected

Correct. And there was also an allegation from a Texas A&M coach about Lyles asking for 80 large to sign Peterson. I don't know if this report has to do with Peterson but there's a detailed relationship between Lyles and LSU. Get your popcorn ready!!!!

It's either LSU and Lyles or Auburn and Cam. Take your pick.

I've always been amazed that Miles made it this long without doing something against the rules in regards to recruiting...even at LSU.

If I'm not mistaken he's already had one coach caught up in the pay for play. I thought they had to fire a coach not too long ago.

this may have happened, but i would be suprised to find out LSU has been buying players, when they can cherry pick a hotbed of talent. to me, that would be like Texas buying players. seems more reasonable of Auburn, being little brother in their own state.

I don't think Miles would intentionally break the rules. I do think he would be too stupid to realize he is, in fact, breaking rules.

In the Oregon story, the Yahoo guys made LSU sound clean. They paid 6k or something and had specific requests about evaluations and tape they wanted. In contrast, Oregon asked for no tape/evals and paid 25k.

The Lyles connection should concern Tiger fans, but I'm not sure if it's related.

LSU will probably get a slap on the wrist if, or should I say when, the NCAA hammers Oregon simply because Myles was around the program. Cal falls in this boat too.

Nothing major, probably a probation period at worst, but something will be done just so the NCAA can say they were somewhat consistent.

Because you think they deserve it or because you despise them? It's all Bama hatred for me :)

Both. Auburn is my most hated team in all of sports as well though. So some of it is because of hate, most is because they deserve it.

I had heard Auburn also, but Auburn and LSU already have alot of heat on them, im hoping its the Bammers. Would be a great trifecta.
