Tell us again how good DePaul's players are. That is very impressive....since LSU and Florida have each been to a final four, and Florida 2 National Titles....That just shows you that Bruce knows how to win, he just has gotten unlucky down the stretch.
You people wanting him fired are idiots....we wouldn't find anybody better, and we would be giving away a man who works extremely hard for this university on the court, with the players, and in the community. Think about what you guys are saying, this isn't Fulmer were talking about, Pearl is still on top of his game.
Remind me on Selection Sunday where Providence is at. It will be encapsulated in 3 letters. N...I...T.I never in my life said Verdell Jones was 1 and done. I said the coaches at Indiana think he will go pro and be successful in 2-3 years.
And if you want to put me on Blast for saying Depaul has had talent in years past, but not coached properly.....Should I bring up that you stated Providence had zero chance of making the tourny, and that they would barely make the NIT or something along those lines.....Now we both look stupid. Although you did correctly predict LSU and SC's success this season so props.
Who do you think we could get after we FIRE CBP in Knoxville? After the success he has had, regardless of how "bad his coaching is", don't you think coaches might be scared of the recent standards we put on our program? I doubt we could get anybody better at this point.
If you've been told Tom Crean promised anyone anything, you're talking to flat out liars. Also Verdell is getting 10ppg, and 4 assist per game in the Big 10 for a terrible team. He has been promised his starting spot next year, so my original statement of having Verdell over West isn't looking too bad at this point is it?
I could care less. I guarantee I've known Tom Crean a Hell of a lot longer than Verdell Jones has. Crean has promised him squat.
1. BCG's style of play is one much more likely to attain continual success than the ratball Pearl believes in so fervently.Hat, I'm curious as to why you like Gillispie so much better than Pearl. Both have been responsible for regular-season turnarounds, but neither has gotten past the Sweet Sixteen in the tourney. Is it just the different styles of play you see in their teams, or what?
