SEC Women’s Tournament 2022

3 of the 5 teams behind them lost so my guess would be that there aren’t enough wins left to pass them.

UCONN stands a decent chance of taking the last 2 Seed that Michigan lost out on.

Texas if they won the Big 12 actually might pass LSU but short of that idk what would knock LSU out.
Here's the other thing working in LSU's favor: they can't be placed in #1 South Carolina's region. So, the committee can't drop them to the #8 or #9 seeds. With them being at #7 in the last reveal, and then losing last night, the committee either keeps them at #7 or drops them to the #10 seed.

Can anyone tell me why the game broadcasts say LSU losing won’t hurt their #2 position in the NCAA? And everyone here is wondering if we need to win one or two sec tournament games to stay in the top 16???? We both have main players hurt but LSU gets a no problem loss because their main player is hurt ? Just asking!
Creme said last night with Maryland losing, we would be a 3 seed regardless if we won or lost last night

I think it would be wrong to not give Tennessee a 2 seed if they were to win the SEC Tournament.

Same. Would be impossible to ignore. This has been an extremely tough conference. Even a finals appearance is very impressive. If we win the championship I don’t see how we aren’t a 2 seed.

Yes, LSU can be dropped to 8th or 9th position in NCAAW Selection Committee ranking as this season they are utilizing the G Curve, or Geographical Curve, not the S or Strength Curve. The latter would typically place the lowest #2-seed or 5th ranked team opposite the Overall #1-seed, as long as other guidelines are met. Which having LSU and SC, both SEC teams, as respective #2-seed and #1-seed, in the same Regional wouldn't even happen using the S Curve. Additionally, the S Curve typically puts the strongest #3-seed along with the weakest #2-seed in the overall #1-seed Regional. Thus, 8th or 9th for LSU would mean the Selection Committee if using S Curve simply would theoretically move LSU to Wichita or B'port. But they are using the G Curve and their typical Conference guidelines. LSU might be 9th or 10th depending upon if UConn and Texas keep winning, as well as ISU needs to avoid an early Tourney exit, especially to unranked team, to stay as a #2-seed. LSU's loss was a bad one as early round and to an unranked team. They shouldn't be a #2-seed whether S Curve or G Curve.

Both teams look gassed I hope we don’t look like this

Hope we come out hot and Kentucky is sucking air 🤞🏼

I have not noticed conditioning being much of an issue aside from that grueling Arkansas game at home. That game set us back a few games.

We were able to spread minutes well last night, especially Walker and Key which should be big for today.

Hope they fired him.

It's pretty suspect to me that it was announced that he was going somewhere else within 30 minutes after he denigrated his co-hosts. I know he thinks that when he is condescending it's funny but I can't imagine anyone thinking what he did last night was funny. Very uncool of him and probably something that will affect his broadcasting career. That last lashing was probably the proverbial straw because he flashed his disposition several times over the tournament and Andrea had to be upset. Too bad he did it to himself because he also had some accurate insight as well.

Just turned on the KY-SC game with two min. remaining. Right now only 43 sec left. KY has ball down by one.
