It is worth considering that the coaches poll at the end of the regular season is the only one that is publicized with each coach's individual vote. It is also typically the only time of the year that most coaches have a chance to look at other teams to make an assessment instead of having their Sports Information Dept. casting their vote.

I imagine most coaches will put Bama ahead of OSU unless OSU puts 40 or 50 points on OU tonight, and even then I still think Bama stays ahead.

I have a problem with a team going to play for a national championship game when they didn't win their conference. 2001 when LSU beat then undefeated Tennessee who was left out of the championship game against Miami??? WE WERE so I have no problem with Oklahoma State jumping Alabama if the voters choose to move them up after the game tonight providing they win.

Tennessee wasn't undefeated.
