SECCG Thread

For all the crap everyone gives Meyer, he really has been successful. His first year, he beat all three big rivals (UT, UGA, FSU) and won his bowl game. He finished on top of the nation's toughest conference in only his second year. Also, he came out of one of the most difficult schedules in forever with only one loss. That's pretty good, especially considering a lot of the Florida players don't fit the mold for his offensive style. I think it's safe to say he was a good hire.

Any other good news?

Dude....CBS has NOTHING to do with anything either.

The games are on Fox and ABC.

The National Title Game Gets 1 and 2.

The Rose selects next. It gets to replace the Big Ten Champ (Ohio St.) with a team of it's choosing. USC goes there automatically. If Michigan is number two, then it decides who replaces the Big Ten. It WONT take Notre Dame in a rematch. It WONT take Boise St. It CAN'T take the SEC, ACC, or Big East Champ. It will select an at-large team. It will take LSU or one loss Louisville (IF Rutgers wins tonight).

The West Virginia-Rutgers games has more to do with LSU than anything else you have said.

If Florida goes to the National Title Game, The Sugar Bowl would then select between LSU or a one loss Louisville (If Rutgers Wins Tonight) as the team to take the SEC Champion's spot.

Who do you think they would pick?

LSU is in the BCS regardless of the WVU-Rutgers outcome. Either in the Rose or Sugar.

I didn't say CBS had anything to do with it. I work for the Network and have just a little behind the scen info. had Fla lost they go to Cap One. Arky to Sugar. mich to NC LSU to cotten and Aub to Outback. and so forth. I know you don't agree but at some point some of you need to rely on the info i have,

I agree 100% with you that had Florida lost, they would have gone to the Capitol One, and Arkansas to the Sugar.

Why would LSU have fallen out of the BCS? If Rutgers loses tonight, it's IMPOSSIBLE for LSU to fall out of the BCS, if Rutgers wins, then the only way that LSU falls out of the BCS is if Louisville were selected over them, and no one thinks the Rose Bowl is that stupid.

Do you see what I'm saying?
