If we happen to close with 3 more wins, is there a chance we could jump into the top 25? 20-10 going into the tourney.

Doubtful. The teams at the bottom of the top 25 have 6 and 7 losses. The better question would be if we win out AND win the SECT to be 24-10 on selection Sunday would we be ranked and what sees would we get.

IMO, we'd crack the top 25 and be a 5 or 6 seed.

Btw: RPIforecast projects our RPI at 19 if that were to happen

Wow the difference a couple of weeks can make. Granted it is only hypothetical, but that would have to be one of the biggest turnarounds in a season, for any UT sport.

I guess i had my hopes up to high for getting ranked if we won out the reg season. Oh well. Hopefully we can win the rest of the games in the reg season.

Yeah, but look at some of those teams though. I doubt many of those finish with only that many losses, and we would be on a 9 game win streak. I think that would definitely get some chatter.

You have to look at team receiving votes too though...there's other 6 and 7 loss team ready to move up.

We had a strong finish at the end of last year as well and didn't get in the NCAA tourney, so I'm not very optimistic unless we win out and at least make the SEC Finals

UT also had a lot more bad loses last year.
