Duke dropping out sucks. Now FSU won't face the possiblity of a "bad" loss
That wouldn't be a bad loss. If Duke beat FSU, they would have been firmly in the top 50, and that would have been a Q1 loss for Florida State. You could look at it that Florida State lost the opportunity for another Q1 win.

It’s in quotations. It’s a bad enough loss that if we’re close on the seed line it would damage them more than a loss by us to Florida who at least is a tournament team

Syracuse played great yesterday. If they can carry that over today I could easily see them beating UVA

OK St beats WVU. Probably doesn’t impact us much. Now that OK State has played a post season game, what are the odds the NCAA denies their appeal?

UVA holds on to beat Syracuse. That would definitely have helped us. Still they face the winner of GT/Miami. A loss to one of them, and a TN win maybe be enough to move past them as well.

Villanova going down is big. Of course, none of this matters if we don't fulfill our end of the bargain. But, WVU and Nova losing mean if we can win 2 this weekend the path to a 4-seed (or even a 3) is not unreasonable.

I don’t see us making a 3 unless we win the SECT.

I’m hopeful GT can come back against Miami. UVA has beaten GT twice this year but we’re really challenged by them. Hard to beat a team like that 3 times in a season.
