What if Tennessee had defeated Mississippi State? They would be in position for a bye right now.

Or freakin UGA. That loss and the Austin Peay loss are the turds in the punch bowl this season.

NCAA took 5 SEC teams last year.
Lowest RPI to go was GA(53)

Alabama was 12-4 in SEC play (21-11) and went to the NIT. RPI(61)

Would take a miracle to get to the dance from where we are.

IMO, best case is a 2nd round shot at florida. They are horrible on the road and we match up better than we do against vandy. I think state is tough to beat anytime so we'll see

IMO we can suffer 1 loss during season, if we beat either Florida or vandy(big rpi boosters), and lose to the other. We'd still need to probably win 2 in the sec T.

In a three-way tie for 6th right now. I definitely see us finishing ahead of Auburn, Georgia, and Carolina (which would put us 9th at worst), but I'm not so convinced about staying ahead of LSU and passing Arkansas and Ole Miss.

Still, as high as 6th is definitely in play. Would love to see 6th or 7th

Eight vs. nine in the second round, and assuming Kentucky wins that game, the winner of four vs. five/twelve. Yeah... The six seed looks like it has the best chance to run the best chance to run the table.
