Seems like the OLine coach figured out how to fix the problem

Then fell off the wagon and got traded.

And now is a back up.

I guess you could argue he had two good years and it was neither Belichick or the Chiefs coach and I honestly I wouldn't fight that but the point is I have little faith in the Oline coach.

I believe in CBJ...not Mahoney.
CBJ apparently believes in Mahoney. He was Butch's o-line coach for 3 years at Central Mich, and 3 years at Cincy, and 1- 1/2 so far at U.T.

North, Pearson, and Malone or a mixture of this is enough to win games f Worley has time.

No blind side sack and we still beat Florida and break the streak.

the blind side sack cost us the game.

And we had only scored 9 at the point.

Yup! Don't forget about Georgia. Blind side sack knocked him out of the game for a quarter which cost us the game.

Double team #5 maybe. Maybe gives Worley extra second. Maybe qb get snap and roll to strong side to get out of pocket. Throw it away or run for couple and slide if no one open. Somethin different

There isn't a strong side, both sides are unfortunately weak......

You guys are pretty tough on the OP. From what I read he's simply suggesting the Vols may have better success keeping two tight ends in to block. Seems logical to me, but then I don't have the vast coaching experience most of you apparently do.

Just a question. If we had made a couple of plays and beat Georgia and Florida would Vol Nation be obsessing over the O Line? I mean its two games by a total of 4 points. So many things if having gone a little different and this season looks SO much different. Let's not let the O Line be the whipping boy for all our frustrations. They have played some pretty good D lines. Even TC had a DE pass rusher who will be playing on Sundays. Can we at least wait until the end of the season before we totally write them off?

The left side is better than the right. Most of the sacks have come from Worleys right side..like the big TO in the Florida game which I can't conceive of how he couldn't see coming.

Butch is kind of married to the system and it's coaches. We just have to let it mature and see if that sucker flies high in the SEC. I hate to say it that way and I don't like it but it's abundantly clear that's the situation.
BINGO! Patience is a rare gem these days. CBJ and every one of his assistants will affirm this.

So we've had 5 pro olinemen and 2 pro te's all season and sat them on the bench? Our coaches do suck.

Youre talking about NFL players. We have 18 year old kids. If you cant see the difference between the two situations you are....welll...not very smart.
