I think he might be UCONN bound, but what I do think is certain is that its first come first serve for he and Brandon Knight at UK. Which ever picks first the other goes elsewhere, or at least thats wha I am gathering. They say Knight has been a UK lean for weeks, and will commit next week, wherever he is going. However, both have offers and we will see what happens. Personally, I would rather Selby stay away from UK to avoid more negative press with the whole WWW thing.

To clarify, not saying that I would not "want" Selby. But if the perfect scenario worked out, I would rather Knight commit and Selby go elsewhere to avoid the media avalanche. However, I am more than willing to deal with it if thats the case.

And I have absolutely no issue signing Gilchrist next year.

Dude, quit with the www stuff. The guy makes no difference. There are a lot of people behind the scenes at a lot of programs.

The fact is it does not matter. None of this does. Cal got to Selby. Told him to take a a look at how many kids Pearl is putting into the NBA in their first few years. Or at all. That's all he needed to say.I highly doubt UK and Cal need WWW as recruiting leverage over Tennessee basketball.

Gilchrist is going to be a Cat too. None of this stuff matters. Cal +UK = lock down of the conference.

And BTW, Selby OR Knight OR both will be at Kentucky.

C.J Leslie will probably be the next to sign.

Tennessee is going to be picked to finish near the bottom of the SEC next year and everything is back in pecking order. Not a bash post it's just the way it is. I think VOLHAT has been warning everyone of this and about Pearls abilities for some time now.

That's absurd. Of course he's involved with Cal and recruiting, but what's wrong with that?

I can just about guarantee two things about UK hoops. Cal will bring it back, may even win a title or two. AND no less uncertain he will leave it in shambles with recruiting violations that are not his fault.:eek:k:

It'll be interesting to see the mess created when its proven that WWW is compensated by Nike (either "officially" or not) as neither party will be accountable (or punishable) beneath the NCAA bylaws.

People may not be comfortable with the group of "innocents" found cowering beneath the same quilt when those lights finally come on.

i hope he is just an overated street baller with no concept of team,he was committed to tennessee for a year and then bacjed out ,i could understand a few weeks then back out but tennessee almost quit recruiting then its almost like starting over its not football one player can make a big difference in basketball while in football yo recruit a few dozen

This florida blogger seems to think Selby to UK, although he seems to provide absolutely no proof other than speculation. Can't put much stock in this, IMO.

"One of the top basketball players in Florida history, Al Horford, reneged on a verbal commitment to Michigan.
