And I doubt very seriously they are ever going to be...I believe it to be wishful thinking by UT fans...I knows its boring this time of year but setting yourself up for a broken heart is silly :eek:lol: He's Kansas bound more than likely.

A member on the other site, posted that Selby's facebook says he is announcing at noon today. Anybody know anything about this?

He fooled everyone...he just annouced he is going to Notre Dame per Twitter. Observer college was right. He flew by tba and said it looked like a box.

Thanks for sharing that. Not nearly as bad as everyone was making it out to be. With this kid, "I'm not sure" doesn't necessarily mean "no."

Still...I'm done getting my hopes up. If he comes then we have the potential to be an elite team. If he doesn't come, we still have that potential to be an elite team.

Yeah I'm done too, especially after the football recruiting whirlwind....I hope the kid chooses what's best for him and it works out for him, except for when he plays UT if that happens, it does temperment those Selby to UT lock rumors though, which may have been needed considering the let downs Vol fans have experienced this year.

Either way it seems like UT will have a shot at having as good as if not better talent than UK....Though I am already missing Wayne and JP

Selby has probably known for a long time now. He threw Kentucky fans for a flip and then doesn't even visit. I'm pretty sure he's draggin' Tennessee along too. It would be sweet to get him but I aint getting my hopes up.

Sorta reminding me of Markeith Ambles right now. Commits to UT, decommits, puts UT back on list, drops them, puts us in final 3, goes to USC.

Seriously? The kid doesn't know whether he is interested in a college or not without consulting his mom? For better or worse, he needs to figure out the best situation for himself.

1. I think it's a good sign that he wants to bring this up to his mom.

2. I don't think we should get down on 17/18 yr olds for talking to their parents about their college choice. Their is a lot on the line. I personally think that Pearl would land this guy in the NBA, but you can't blame his mom for wanting her son to go elsewhere. Scotty Hopson maybe hurting this guy's recruitment.
