I don't agree with everything said in this post (especially the use of "their"), but Cinci isn't even ranked or ever hyped up. How can they be overrated?

And please enlighten me with what else you disagree with.

I can't believe people on here seriously think that (a) we'd stop Jimmer and (b) we'd wipe the floor with BYU.

I do. Pearl might be the worst offensive minded coach in the world but he knows a thing or two on how to shut down top players. BYU is so one dimentional that it's pathetic. Basically, they are setting ducks. If Jimmer doesn't score 50 like he did the other night, they are dead in the water. Put a one man team in a tournament setting where it primarly rest on his shoulders, and I'd take those odds everyday and twice on Sunday.
Tennessee usually gets up for big games and usually key on big time players. 80% of the field could beat BYU right now.

UT would likely not score 50 points against UC. You obviously didn't know their in the top 10 in scoring defense in the country. Also, they went 11-7 in the Big East and we went 8-8 in the lowly SEC. Calling them overrated is a pretty ignorant statement.

Well if that's the only game you watched UC played this year you are entitled to that opinion but ND shot lights out and it was quite possibly ND best game of the year and Cincy's worse. UC gave up with 15 minutes left in the game.

Before the game against ND, Cincy was ranked 4th in the country in scoring defense giving up 58.6 per game.

Rashad Bishop for Cincy would have Hopson so frustrated he would mope up and down the court the entire game.

I've watched Cincy play a few games, granted not many. Their half-court defense just doesn't jump out at me that much. They're not in the top 50 in field goal percentage defense; that's what I typically measure good defenses on rather than points per game. A team can always keep the opponents' point total low by playing a slow pace, which Cincy does. I'm not saying they're a bad team at all; they just wouldn't be a team that I'd be scared of playing. However, it wouldn't shock me at all if we played them and they beat us.

I would say we will probably be a 9 seed and play a team like Michigan in the West region.

Been a horrible season but with a 31 RPI and second toughest schedule in the country, I think we are in, weak field or not and probably get the dreaded 8/9 seed.

9 or 10. I could see them giving UT a real tough 8 vs 9 game in the opening round.
