So far it's been on the market a month and I've had four people fly in to look at it. An attorney from Florida, a Chinese photographer, the parents of a marijuana grower (legal in Oregon) and the fourth one from Seattle. It's interesting, I wasn't sure where people would come from to look at my place. Two of the four have made a second visit.

My home is in the middle of the forest, it's a custom home with 1.4 acres and 120 ft of river front on a wild and scenic river. It's beautiful I'll miss it, but I need to be closer to family.

Sounds like a beautiful place. I probably need something like that since I'm late in my life.

does the lawyer go by the name Lawgator ? It sounds nice but cold weather blows

Place is awesome. It might be in the boonies but 575 seems like a good deal to me!

Actually, the weather here isn't much different than Nashville. Nashville is a little colder in the winter and a little warmer in the summer. We're above the Willamette Valley fog and below the snow line, sort of a micro climate without the eastern summer humidity issues.

The Florida lawyer gave a bogus reason for not being seriously interested

Yea, wife and real estate agent talked me down a bit. Zillow says $609 and it's amazing..... that's the same number I thought was right before we listed. Might raise the price in 6 months if it doesn't sell for list.
