I just don't see how Alabama in their national championship game throws in a true freshman at halftime Tua and wins then there's true freshman Trevor Lawrence who plays day one and wins one. Which now as the case for Nico to Trevor yeah probably not comparable, but would think this guy should be close to what Tua was then.

You don't understand both Clemson and bama had much better teams top to bottom than this one right ? It's not apples to apples here. For one Tua had an OL where they barely touched him. Lawrence had all kinds of talent also to beat a damn good Bama team

Surely those aren't true freshmen are tho? Takes a couple of years at least even for a 5 star to grow into starting and having success.There has to be extenuating circumstances in Nicos case that's held his maturation back?
