Yes, which is why if we do lose this game, i will more than likely not be on here for at least a week. This fanbase is just absolutely depressing sometimes.

I often think the same thing, but its like a car wreck, you just cant help but look even though you know its going to be ugly.

It was terrible time to start J.P. as our point guard. i would have loved to had Jordan Howell get a crack at it just to see. Obviously ramar was not point guard material, he was always a slashing 2 guard converted to point.

They were just better than us. We'd peaked a month before, and they kept improving.

We'll get to the elite eight. It will happen.

yes, but still, sad to say, we're the only one of those 6 teams that hasn't reached the elite 8 in any of those years. Kansas and NC both won a title. Memphis was the national runner up. And i believe Michigan State made a final four run, which leaves as the lone men on the wrong side of the fence. If we can break through this year and hit a final four, then i think skies the limit for this basketball program for the next few years. We have top notch facilities, great fan support, and starting to perform on a consistent level. The only thing we're missing that the rest of those schools have is a rich tradition, and that can only be built if we get the recruits in.

This is certainly true, and I hope this is the year we break through. I just thought that with all the dwelling on our program's shortcomings (no Elite Eights), it would be nice to at least note our successes. I agree with you. The sky's the limit, success breeds success. The ball is rolling, and the farther we advance this year, the faster it rolls.

If Pearl can get us to the FF, I will not be able to focus for the week.

I should amend my original statement. There are technically only five teams with Sweet Sixteen runs in three of the last four years, as Memphis was denied their appeal today.
