Bro, it’s just a quick example. I like how you excuse her but would you give Trump the same leeway? Nope. Just call a ball a ball and a strike a strike. It’s not hard. She claimed Trump is for Project 2025 multiple times while I watched when he clearly said he isn’t, even in the debate. She said he’s for 20% sales tax. Another lie. I haven’t even watched much of it and those were the lies I saw in a short period. You should get a job with CNN since you also claim lies aren’t lies.

I was a registered Republican until this year. Hoped things would change, but frankly I honestly think Trump will be the death knell of the party.

Now an Independent.

Our country is overdue for a change... been awhile, but IIRC we've had 20 or so different political parties running for President since 1776.

If Trump pulls another jackass January 6th again when he loses, I would question whether the GOP would survive.

This makes no sense. I called it what it is, you're just saying I don't say anything when it's Trump (which isn't true, I explained to my wife just last night that Trump didn't tell people to drink bleach, and my post history has defenses of Trump policies and misrepresentations).

It's the same move from everybody. You don't like that I'm right about what I'm saying. So you say I'm not libertarian or that I'm not perfectly equally critical. Who is? You? Nah bro, especially not you, so you can stfu about giving any side leeway.

How many times have I defended Kamala Harris on this board? I promise you I have defended Trump more.

It's hard to see where they go in 2028? The candidates who have tried to mimic Trump, have had mixed election results ... Can you go back to supporting candidates who adhere to professional norms after nominating a blowhard clown like Trump 3 times? People who vote for Trump aren't really looking for a leader. They want an entertainer.

under your logic the loser of the race is also unviable. Trump is doing everything in his power to lose this race, and he lost the last one. he is as unviable as any third party you could vote for. might as well actually vote for someone you actually believe in.

if you were to vote for a third party candidate, they become viable even in your eyes. the only thing keeping them from being viable is your own actions. you are the one stopping a better candidate from emerging.

Here's the facts. Trump or Kamala will be president, (unless the dems are successful in killing him).

You can vote for someone you know has zero percent chance of winning and think you've taken the moral high ground or you can vote for Trump or you can vote for Kamala. You seem to place an emphasis on character, and that's fine. I'm 100% confident that Trump is a much better option to lead this country than Kamala. Unfortunately, those two are our choices. If Kamala gets in, it won't be because I voted for a 3rd party.

I’ve never liked republican leadership.
Some of the ideas they give lip service to, sure. But Trump is a special kind of trash. A grifter. He claimed to be a democrat till he realized he could sell Bill Clinton ideas……without actually doing it…..and sell being an outsider to gain the ego boost. But really both parties as we once thought we knew them are dead. If they were ever truly what we thought they were.

If I could choose one to negotiate with Jung or XI or putin, I will take the trained prosecutor every time . She led trump like a puppy. Trump himself has never shown any leadership ability.
