September 11th, a day to remember.

2. So we should be in mourning 11 years later and forget why we are mourning? Ever hear the wise adage that those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it. Example A; Attacks on our embassy in Egypt and our consulate in Libya, September 11th wasn't selected at random, it is a commemoration of an islamic victory in ancient history.

As a Conservative and someone not found of the current POTUS and the Democratic Party in general, you are the type of person that gives Repubs the "nutcases" connotation. Of course we should be mourning on the anniversary. We have 364 other days before the next anniversary to be mad about it.

Loosing a family member is tough, but to have lost one in an event like 9/11, respect should be shown to the surviving family members.

GS, you're a pus-filled scrotum.

I know you have mental problems, but if those problems are going to manifest themselves on this board as they have in this thread, then I hope the powers that be remove your account permanently. There is simply no excuse for your post.

Under Bill Clinton, Director of Counter Terrorism was a cabinet level post which briefed the President on a regular basis. Under George W. Bush, the Director of Counter Terrorism was downgraded by Condoleeza Rice to a position without authority, subordinate to a committee of Neoconservative under secretaries from the Defense and State Departments. Look at the posted picture of the Twin Towers. That was New York City before George Bush and his Neoconservative political appointees assumed responsibility for our national security.

Wow. Trolling hard aren't we?

Clinton had multiple chances to take OBL out and declined. I don't really blame Clinton or Bush. The pre-9/11 mindset was completely different. It is way too easy to Monday morning it in the post 9/11 mindset.

Johnny Cash shook my hand, did he ever shake yours?

As a matter of fact Johnny's brother keeps framed on his desk something I sent him in an email. He says it is the most inspirational thing he ever read.

Johnny once made a movie about the life of Christ.

Johnny Cash: The Gospel Road | The Sony Music Johnny Cash Site

When they were in the process of filming the crucifixion scene, the skys darkened and the Earth trembled just as happened the day Jesus was crucified. They left that scene out of the movie.

Islam denies that Christ was crucified and it is a little known fact that moslems have crucified more people than the Romans did. It is a barbaric islamic practice that persists until this very day.

Muslim Brotherhood ‘Crucifies’ Opponents, Attacks Secular Media | Jewish & Israel News Algemeiner.com

El Balad adds that the supporters of Tawfik Okasha, another vocal critic of President Morsi—the one who widely disseminated the graphic video of a Muslim apostate being slaughtered to cries of “Allahu Akbar”—gathered around the presidential palace, only to be surrounded by Brotherhood supporters, who “attacked them with sticks, knives, and Molotov cocktails, crucifying some of them on trees, leading to the deaths of two and the wounding of dozens.”

Far from condemning these terrorists, Al Azhar, Egypt’s most authoritative Islamic institution, has just issued a fatwa calling for more violence and oppression, saying that “fighting participants in anti-Muslim Brotherhood demonstrations planned for 24 August is a religious obligation.”
---------------------------

In reality, there is little reason to doubt this crucifixion story. Militant Muslims crucifying their opponents is a regular feature of the Islamic world—recent cases coming from the Ivory Coast, where two Christian brothers were crucified, similarly by supporters of a Muslim president who ousted a Christian; Indonesia, where Islamic separatists crucified a fellow Muslim for being a military informant; and in Iraq, where Muslim militants crucified Christian children.

Moreover, those alleged to have been crucified in Egypt certainly fit the Koran’s description of who deserves to be crucified. According to Allah, “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this: that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off…” (Koran 5:33).
----------------------------

Finally, it is telling that only a few months ago, and for the first time in Egypt’s modern history, an Egyptian MP proposed to institutionalize Sharia’s most draconian punishments—including crucifixion.

In short, under the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, the bottle has been uncorked and the Islamic Genie set loose. Expect much worse to come.
How is that Arab spring working for you now?

I'm aware that many if not most Republicans don't like me, I'm not so fond of them myself.

So you say 9/11 should be a mourning and that we should just forget who did it and why? Sounds like you are well down the road to dhimmitude.

How do you think we should remember 9-11, 2012?

That is not what Clinton's Director of Counter-terrorism Group said about situation. He requested action plans targeting OBL several times. CIA repeatedly told him it did not have the resources, that it was a job for the military. The military told him that they did not have the resources, that it was a job for CIA covert ops. Personally, I think he should have ordered them to get their butts in gear or find another job, but he basically got stonewalled when he asked for options. The Tomahawk cruise missile was all they ever recommended, and Clinton did use them. Remember that President Bush had never got OBL during his eight years in office. Hel, he nevr even cared about OBL until after 9/11. It was Obama and Panetta that devoted the right resources and gave the go order.

So where is all the blood and evidence of death by beating that crazy Carter was talking about. There is no swelling and hardly any blood at all, just one small spot on his forehead. Was Carter hallucinating or just lying through his teeth? The Ambassador died of smoke inhalation; look at his mouth, and then curse the POS who posted the picture.

1) Didn't have the resources? You don't seriously beleieve that do you? We had the resources, just didn't have the balls in the White House. Again, it was a different mindset before 9/11, so I don't hold a lot of I'll will there.

2) You're going to hold OBL not being killed under Bush's watch against him? Seriously? The POTUS has nothing to do with the intel we get. Obama happened to get the opportunity and took advantage of it.

Barack Obama appointed Leon Paneta as CIA director and then secretary of defense.

His only experience that qualified him for the job, other than being a Clinton gofer, was that he spent two years in Army uniform.

The day Slick Willy Clinton took office, the banned the FBI intelligence liason office from the White House.

He told them to be out by noon, they had their sh!t out by 10 AM.

I know because I know a guy who worked there, I've known him since he was about 4 years old and he told me that in person, face to face.

Did you mention Carter?

Did you notice how closely Obama's policies, both foreign and domestic parrallel Carter's?

Actually Stevens was raped and murdered.

BTW, one of the SEALS who was killed was named Glenn Daugherty, he was the same man who shot a Somali pirate on a bobbing sea, through a small porthole, thus preventing hostages being killed in that rescue attempt.

You can't tell me that if Glenn had been properly armed there would have been no casualties among the murderers who made this attack.

You were where?

I doubt you were in Benghazi.

I also doubt you have ever held a top secret crypto security clearance, I have.

Maybe you can stop slinging not long enough to explain yourself.

I believe he is talking about 9/11 and NYC. I could be wrong but I believe I have heard him mention it before.

Hey now, that is one of my favorite movies, let's not insult the film (or the true story behind the film) by saying GS is close to John Nash.

If that is your reaction to my posts, then put me on ignore. Bye bye...

He does have a point, you're less entertaining than watching a garden slug take all afternoon to crawl accross the patio.

The movie didn't do Nash justice.

As a matter of fact they went out of their way to make him appear to be mentally ill which he is not.

So you were in one of the towers when the planes hit?

What did you do, jump out a window.

BTW, what does being there have to do with anything as far as analyzing the motives of the jihadists?

I also doubt you have ever held a top secret crypto security clearance, I have.

What was the double secret password and handshake?

Doubt what you wish.

I was a Russian language specialist in the USAF.

I have a hard time dealing with ignorant people, I'm not so sure that could be called a disability though.
