Sequel? Prequel?

Here's another Star Wars related prequel.

The Jedi/Sith war that took place 1000 years before the events of The Phantom Menacs.

Even though they're not exactly critical favorites, I think The Purge movies could use a prequel, or even just a sequel that delves into the actual origins of the purge.

Well, two different wars in the EU. One predated the other by about 2,000 years. However, I'd prefer the Jedi Civil wars because of the rise of Darth Revan and Malak.

I know the SW Franchise only uses a little bit of the "Legends" from time to time in the series, but there's some great material that can be used as the basis for some kick ass films. The Jedi-Sith conflicts, the Mandalorian Wars, the rise of the Republic, etc. There's really a huge selection of story lines to pick from that could make exceptional prequels/trilogies.
