Seriously, how does the #2 seed out of the SEC draw the ACC Tourney Champ?

In baseball, in the first round of regionals, they base the pairings on location as much as possible. Tennessee does seem to have got screwed, but it’s because of more reasons than we are hated. If you look at almost every regional, all the teams are close in proximity. Same thing happens in softball.

Make it out of a tough regional and the team will be rolling and ready to kick ass as we move forward. I see no issue with it. If the Vols are as good as we think they are, they'll take care of business.

It's tournament time. You must beat the team that you're playing to advance. Every team in the tournament has a shot.
Beat the team on the field and advance to play another good team. GBO!

Even the guys on the SEC now show picked UT as having the worst (Hardest) draw. The curse continues. So it's not our imagination when the guys on the SEC show draw attention to it also.

I don't think we even have the toughest regional in the top 8, let alone altogether. Arizona's regional looks tougher than ours. Texas Tech, Texas, TCU, Vandy and MSU all have tough regionals. As for 9-16, Stanford, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Oregon and La Tech all have tough regionals. ODU doesn't even host their regional and they have to go on the road to an SEC team. Honestly on paper none of the regionals look all that easy except Arkansas -- even though Nebraska is the Big Ten champ so that could potentially get somewhat interesting.

What's interesting about our regional is I think we essentially have three 3-seeds. I think we have arguably the best 4-seed but arguably the weakest 2-seed. Duke doesn't scare me at all. I think people look at the regional as tougher than what it is because of the 4-seed being so good, but I think Duke is overseeded. People are talking about RPI but Fairfield was high in RPI, too. And they got a regional 3-seed.

Many might not remember but Chad has a special chip on his shoulder. The Wright State loss last year drew a lot of ire from you guys and they talked a lot of trash on social media to him. He will be ready to wear it out Friday.

I for one am looking forward to seeing Chad shut up the haters on #VolTwitter 😎

The game thread was pretty tame compared to this year with all of the noobs. And it was 8 pages, ha. But I hate he got ripped on social media. I am a huge fan of Chad and can’t wait to see him shut down Wright St. Friday.

Duke is a joke. Liberty and Wright State, please. Quit looking at the RPI it has Fairfield at 3. Use your common sense. This is an easy regional. 3 game sweep and not even challenged in any game.

Tennessee absolutely has enough to win the CWS, so this would be a somewhat shocking upset. Duke, however, has won 12 straight games and is playing as well as any team in the country. This is a pretty brutal draw for the Vols.

Duke also has more postseason experience, as the Blue Devils won a Regional in 2019 as a No. 3 seed. The big advantage that the Vols will have — aside from home field — will be their pitching depth thanks to the strong combination of Chad Dallas, Will Heflin and Blade Tidwell. None of those guys are truly elite aces though, and Duke is playing well enough to beat one or multiple of those pitchers.

Predicting every NCAA baseball Regional

Put that ish up on the bulletin board. Besides LSU the only SEC team they picked to lose a Regional.

247 has horrible baseball writers. It's a football first site so I wouldn't but much stock in their opinion.

This is the fan voting for the D1 bracket challenge, and we are the 5th most likely team to win their regional according to their readers/viewers. Feels like the average person is way higher on the Vols than some of the "experts".
