Just leave the conference alone.....i could care less if VT or FSU or OU were in the SEC.....all that does is let teams take away one of our sales pitches to recruits....the sec doesnt need to add new members every year...we are the cream of the crop minus a few teams

Why dont we replace them with Texas, all we do is play 5 or 6 top 10 teams anyway, one more wont hurt.:)

Forget kicking out vandy. just bring back Sewanee, Tulane, and Ga Tech. Founding members for EVERYONE

Franklin has done wonders for Vandy. Why kick them out? While we were heading downhill, they were climbing the hill. Just so happens we met in the middle. It won't stay that way ( hopefully we are heading back to the top), but I can't think of a reason to kick them out. I personally enjoy beating them.

Too many people have let Franklin and Clay Travis rot their brains regarding Vandy as well as the so-called 'death' of UT. We have a very skewed perception of where we are and that goes for rival fanbases too. We haven't fallen nearly as hard as other schools have in the past but don't tell us or other SEC fans that. It's how dramatically things have played out rather than the reality of our slump as compared to other SEC teams (which honestly compared to others ain't that bad) that makes ours look a whole lot worse than it is.

Going from playing for the SEC title regularly to 5 years of mediocre play including 2 recent epically awful (for us) losing seasons that were inexplicable given our offense fixes that perception in our minds as well as in the minds of others. But that perception doesn't quite mesh with reality.

It sucks for us but we are in no way close to being down for the count.

I've been saying get rid of candy for years! They bring ZERO $$ in & stand there with their hand out to get their SEC check every year. They're a liability. They belong in Conference USA

Stanford? They've gone 34-5 in the last 3 seasons, won the Pac-12 last season and won the Rose Bowl, and the previous 2 seasons won the Orange Bowl and lost the Fiesta Bowl.

And Northwestern at least goes to a bowl game almost every year. They aren't Stanford but they sure aren't Duke either.
