When CDS was hired in Knoxville I was a happy boy. I just knew he'd take the team to the CWS in no time flat.

John Currie may have royally fumbled the football coaching search, but I will give him a pass since he brought us the legend that has become Tony Vitello. Currie is OK in my book now.

Agreed. The #SchiaNO disaster was on him but thank goodness that he had the good sense to hire CTV. With that said, I’m not sure Currie would have selected CTV without Blair DeBord’s influence. We probably owe DeBord for this more than Currie.

I'm a Serrano fan but I just don't see him as a fit on TV's staff. They're so opposites I don't think Serrano would be comfortable at all.

I'm a Serrano fan but I just don't see him as a fit on TV's staff. They're so opposites I don't think Serrano would be comfortable at all.

I see where yer coming from, and I certainly don’t think it would be a great experiment but…CDS has had to adapt styles, he’s worked with great coaches, but, yeah, I think it’s too soon for it.

Saw comments on here indicating that some VN ️ regulars don’t agree with that. Tennis was probably my best sport due to the minimal penalty for lack of height, and my kids are showing promise, so I’ll stick up for it. Plus, your comment might be along the lines of how football posters would talk about baseball, wouldn’t want that…

That is crazy that a mizzou asst coach recruiting a kid from manhatten ks results in the overall no 1 seed in Knoxville.
