It's not. This album is probably their heaviest one yet. It's a lot different than what's come out from them the last couple of years. You won't be disappointed.

Good. I really enjoyed Cold Day Memory though. I thought it was pretty heavy.

Picked it up at Best Buy (have gift certificates that needed to be used) on lunch. I made it through ten of the thirteen songs. I like it so far. There are parts of some of the songs that are harder or heavier than I have ever heard Sevendust go. Can't wait till after work to finish the rest of it on the way home.

Sith Vol was right.. it didn't disappoint.

I agree with some parts being a lot heavier than ever before. The deep screams. Not really my thing but its only partially scattered through a couple of songs. Not a problem for me. These guys are still rockin after nearly 20 years.

Third track (can't remember the name) started out waaaay heavier than I have heard them before and I was kind of taken back by it. These guys are probably my favorite band. It's hard not to like a band that has been this consistant for this long.

Same here. I think you're talking about "Till Death". That one worried. Not really into that style. "Black Out The Sun" and "Dark AM" are amazing. Probably my favorites.
