Yea, Baylor schedule is weak. I bet in the coming years they will try to play everyone again(Griner days).

With only one senior this season, Kim toned the schedule back. I think that Dekeiya Cohen and Kristy Wallace developed quicker than she thought. The best thing thus far is that they haven't lost to any unranked teams, who does that? Anything beyond the Sweet Sixteen would be gravy for this team.

Next season is the one we, as fans, are hyped for. Alexis Jones will join Niya Johnson in the back court and Nina's (Davis) gonna Nina. Add in the new group of post players Women's Basketball - ESPN and next seasons Lady Bears should rock. So yes, I would expect Kim to upgrade future schedules.

Yes i agree Baylor will be tough the next 4 years for sure. I just don't agree with having a light schedule when ur conference is already is light. I would expect more from a team like Baylor who played all the powerhouses with Griner but thats my opinion. Tennessee, Stanford, Uconn plays tough schedules every year no matter who's on the roster.

Light schedules do not do teams any favors. Teams may be good enough to rise above it, but by no means does it prepare you to win a championship. UCONN, IMO, is going to suffer in that really bad conference. It may not happen this year, it may not happen next year, but it'll happen.

A light schedule don't help the team develop but I guess it makes Mulkey look better with more wins. Lol

She should say WWCPSD
(What would Coach Pat Summit Do)

Kim thinks very highly of Pat; I wouldn't be surprised if she did:) ask herself that.

I like Kim, and I do think she's dodging when she feels her team is weaker. But look at it from her end; cut the tougher teams, beat up on other teams, get a higher seed. It makes a lot of sense; she's paid to take her team as far as possible.

And that's the difference between the two programs and why Mulkey is a chicken@#$. Tennessee didn't run away from the series when Baylor had the clear advantage with Griner. And as soon as she graduates Mulkey doesn't want to play anymore? If she tries to renew a series with Tennessee, I hope Holly tells her where to go....

If Baylor do get #1, I hope Tenn is #2 seed in their bracket. Yeah Baylor will be tough the next five years. Davis is a stud.
