shepard smith calls it like he sees it. i respect that. id say he is the best example of what fox news "aims" to be when they speak of fair and balanced

An attack of conscience for him, perhaps? No longer willing to be part of the shrill machine?

If CBS was smart, they'd approach him about replacing Katie Couric. She is getting hammered.

I always thought Brit Hume played it fairly straight, at least in what little I've seen of him.

His problem is that his outright disdain for anything not neo-conservative comes across when he reads the news. He snorts, smirks, rols his eyes, etc. He has long since abandoned any pretense of objectivity.

Hell of a time to make that mistake, isn't it?

Personally, I'd say anyone that makes spelling errors while attempting to act superior due to a perceived lack of spelling errors is the real moron. This genius has done this about five times now.

Confusing "who's" with "whose" is a spelling error?

You've had them in the past. I don't need to argue semantics with you. You've looked like a fool several times while attempting to make others feel foolish. That's all there is to it.

Show me a misspelled word based on stupidity and not a typo, and I'll give it to you.

I'd say attempting to spell "whose" and producing "who's" probably wasn't the result of a finger inadvertently deviating a few millimeters.

No, this is a message board. I have plenty of friends in real life. kptvol just has an axe to grind against me because of the way I started out on this board. I don't care what some middle-aged man who probably works at his local Chrysler dealership thinks about me.

Although that seems like a station much higher than you'll ever achieve, that's not really close at all to reality.
